30 likesremember that feeling we all felt when we noticed Lana used autotune on TJF and then we all realized how she used it artistically instead of trying to make herself sound "better" than she actually does like typical artists use it? i hope we get moments like that on this record. just the genius of using weird fucking things for absolutely no reason other than artistic vision

22 likesThe album is allegedly coming out on 7/4. 7+4=11. There were 11 songs on Lana’s last record. Lana’s last record was her 7th record. 7/11 is a place that Lana was spotted at on July 28, 2020. 2 is a factor of 8, and when you divide the two numbers together, you are left with 4. We took the numbers 2 & 8 from July 28th, but we didn’t do anything to July, so we are left with...July 4th! The math is mathing ❤️ Album out July 4th ❤️

19 likesLana is established and iconic enough to not worry too much about streams and sales anymore. Her fan base is massive and she's going for a legacy long beyond her lifetime, not immediate success on the pop charts. She is going to be fine. I am so grateful that she cares way more about creating timeless art than keeping up with current trends. People can complain all they want about her recent music being "boring" but quick reactions like that are irrelevant in the long run, Chemtrails and the three new singles we've gotten are beautiful art that will age very well and be regarded as important moments in her creative output.

18 likesArguing is one of my favorite sports, but even I have to agree that it's becoming tiring. We're arguing about the same things over and over again without any new insight. Let's keep our vibrations high and accept what Lana has to offer. If it's not enough, go listen to other artists. There are plenty out there. Having the same discussion every week is useless

16 likesThis is exactly what she did for Lust for Life. She didn’t finish writing/recording the record until June 9th 2017 (and then the final mixes/masters likely weren’t done until a few weeks later) and then she had a digital release on July 21st with vinyls not shipping until September 29th. And not that it matters to the art itself, but she still got a #1 in the UK and on the Billboard US chart, which is an extra perk for the label and her commercial success! So I would love a similar situation this time around

16 likesI’m not so crazy over her new songs (except for BB for now)… but hearing today’s new releases from Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat etc… guys… sorry but their songs are so bad actually. They can’t even compare to Lana’s weakest songs and that’s on that. You guys should appreciate that.

15 likesMy friend in Taylorland says physicals were available for order on release day for folklore and evermore, but they didn't ship for months. So the music did not have to be sent to production prior to the release, and all those physical orders were still factored into charts on day one. Doesn't this solve the issue of "due to Lana's unique need for physicals in order to chart, there can be no surprise digital-only release"? Therefore: Global digital release July 4. Full vinyl/CD selection available for pre-order on July 4. #1 chart debut. Vinyls ship in time for Halloween. She's free to keep writing, recording, adding, and deleting all-new songs up until midnight on the 3rd.

14 likeshere's the deal, what i can promise is i'll lie down like a bed of wildflowers -- you know what, maybe what BOZ meant with the "i can't believe she's doing this" is that she's doing a digital only release (at least for now and physicals will follow later this year) july 4th - the day the USA started writing their story, the day her story drops on streaming services yup, post notifications are ON bitch

13 likesLast August didn’t BOZ say he couldn’t see any reason why COTCC wouldn’t come on Sept 5th? Maybe it was someone else, but I’m pretty sure someone said that, idk. But then it didn’t come anyway. So just because this album seems ready for July 4th, it doesn’t necessarily mean Lana will release it then. But I’m all here for being delusional and imagining it will be a surprise drop.

13 likesi think some people forget that her debut single (and the song that brought her to the mainstream) was video games, a slow, almost dreamy ballad mostly comprised of piano & strings, some of the material from cotcc had more life & energy, yet video games was very popular and it's one of most well-known songs, people may not have any interest in slow acoustic songs, but that doesn't mean she should stop making the kind of music she loves because people may not care about it, she's aiming for more than mainstream tiktok hits, which i think is great, and i do believe her music will stand the test of time

13 likesShe needs a better PR team. And someone to actually proofread her statements before she goes off. There was 0 damage control post QFTC.. She derailed her image with poor phrasing, although her intentions were right. Taylor was cancelled from 2016-2019. But the GP LOVES her now. Because Taylor kept promoting LGBTQ equality or endorsing new upcoming artists or trying to be very political. Lana will recover. Slowly but surely. She just needs to do some PR stunts.
