To be honest, she doesn't release singles on Fridays anymore. I think during Ocean Blvd era, A&W and The Grants were released on Tuesdays ("especially on Tuesdays" LFL trailer reference omfg? ) and the title track was released on Wednesday. So that could mean that the single could drop any day. Also some examples: Tough was released on Wednesday, triple singles from BB were released on Thursday and Arcadia on Wednesday. COTCC single on Monday, Mariners on Wednesday, Venice on Tuesday, Hope Dangerous Thing on Wednesday. Wednesday seems to be the "most popular" release day for her lately to be honest.

Anyways now that the buzz from my pitcher of vodka cranberries is wearing off, I will say, I am by no means a staunch supporter of this current administration - in fact, I agreed with many critics in the past on matters such as the Afghanistan withdrawal, sending huge amounts of money to Iran (by unfreezing assets), and their lack of a true plan for the future of healthcare. But when my absentee ballot finally arrives (my home state sends them only 29 days before the election), I will be voting for Harris, because I believe all of the above is less disastrous than a second Trump Presidency - one where he does not have to worry about re-election. I don't even necessarily consider myself a Democrat - I strongly believe that big government is not always the answer, and that some level of privatization is beneficial. But I am unmoving on issues such as abortion, gay, trans rights and other liberties for minorities. That is not an area where I ever want to have to "debate" anyone on, and I won't apologize for my strong beliefs on those matters - and again, while a Harris/Walz admin won't be perfect, it is by FAR the better viable option.

That means that was the original date for the album, and maybe she’s releasing the single on that day instead or maybe nothing. 2. That is the lead single date! Just completely theoretical but I think there’s a possible chance!

Let's be honest, Lasso is not coming any time soon and we've been on a seemingly endless leak drought since 2022 with only very few actually good moments/mass leaks ever since. Lots of grails were found, most of the stuff we all prayed for for years is leaked now. There's a lot that's yet to leak though, but it's not like, at least, outtake-wise we can expect a lot (excpet post-HM). We got lots of titles too, even if we don't have the songs. So let's have some fun and create our own hypothetical Lana Del Rey songs/demos with titles, lyrics, lenght, info/addicional tea, years and stuff. You can even create the songs or snippets using ai to give life to them, though it's not required! I'll start: "Pretty Baby" (2013) Tropico sessions, only the "pretty baby" lyric and melody from For K Part 2 was recicled for the chorus, acoustic ballad a la Nectar of the Gods, lyrics share some parallels with Yayo and is tematicaly similar, gorgeous backing vocals. "Tarantino" (2011) Unused instrumental from the later Born To Die sessions, she never wrote the lyrics, very Western influenced with trap elements and great orchestra, could've been Dangerous Girl part 2 but even better. "Vicious" (2009) Originally written for a Britney Spears's Circus follow up but never picked up, there are two demos from that time and a rework from Lust for Life sessions with updated lyrics and production, dark electropop a la She's Not Me with Jealous Girl femme fatale vibe but sexier, lots of whispered vocals and she uses more lower register in comparison to her other stuff from that time. Groupie Love - Honeymoon demo (2015) Recorded in the later sessions with Paradise and Dead to Me, sounds like Lust for Life demo meets Freak and Cry Kill Die, solo demo, beautiful HM era vocals, the strings are beautiful, some different lyrics and a bridge.
