"Anyone can turn me down If I’m distracting Or turn anyone else up With the click in the mirror Or the top back down up Just the way you like it I hope time Doesn’t affect ya Doesn’t translate" and "Now you say that I'm cold blooded, do you still love me? Maybe" Lowkey sound like they belong with "Does that make me crazy no i'll just love you t'ill you're my ex boyfriend" maybe they're from the 2016 version of LA who am i

When Lana sings the whole album at Stagecoach festival then never releases it

That being said I listen to chemtrails somewhat frequently, in the right mood, the stripped back vibe works. Sometimes it feels it’s missing something.

Chemtrails would have sounded so cool as a more 70s psychedelic folk inspired album, it’s a true shame. Imagine if it was sonically similar to George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass album, the religious imagery could have been truly elevated by music like this. Still, I can’t get over those vocals on Yosemite.

My Roman Empire is the fact that my sister was STACKED with old Taylor merch because she’s been a fan since fearless (she converted me into a swiftie during speak now) and the things I would do to even just hold that merch today is criminal. What’s really sad is that she threw it all out in highschool be issue she was bullied for going to the rep tour and liking Taylor now all those girls are ‘big fans’ luckily she still has 2 bottles of wonderstruck (put together would make one full one), incredible things lotion and body scrub, whatever the red wonderstruck is bath gel and the green rep ring. It makes me so sad tho because her Taylor merch was my childhood the one that I mostly remember was this pen (maybe a lightup one from the red tour idk) and it had like a rainbow lanyard Istg I’m gonna go insane and buy all this merch back

Thanks for sharing this! I love it. It sounds like they've listened to the original a lot, and it's yet more evidence that musicians love Lana. If you're listening to the radio broadcast, it starts at 1:22:00. Apparently the radio show is only up for a couple of weeks, so hopefully someone grabs this.

This is from a LMDR post and everyone thought they were lyrics from Crazy For You but obviously since they aren't everyone decided they meant nothing and I am pretty sure LMDR said the same thing himself

I loved Brat. And the Girl, so confusing remix with Lorde was definitely monumental.

The way she trapped herself with that country music nonsense when she's at her peak and now we're probably looking at her longest gap between album releases... If something doesn't work out the way you want and you don't know where to head next, it's best to stop doing it at all and start over with a new idea.

The earliest I expect would be summer next year, but I think autumn 2025 or spring 2026 is more realistic I gonna stay optimistic and say August 29th or September 5th 2025

it takes 6 months for an album to come out from the moment it’s finished and it’s far from being finished as of now so 2026 wouldn’t surprise me at all very late 2025 at the very least, which kind of is 2 years from january 2024 love her though

If COVID hadn't happened, my own life would be much better, because I lost a great job here in NYC, which was devastated by the pandemic in 100 ways. And the wolf was right at my door: though there are only 9 apartments on my floor, two men in other apartments died of COVID, and an older friend whom I had known also died of it, very suddenly. COVID destroyed so much and so many. The government's fumbling and junk science didn't help. BUT if there was no COVID, we wouldn't have Violets For Roses, one of my all-time favorite Lana tracks. And Black Bathing Suit might not exist either, or might in a different form. I'm glad Lana responded to COVID in her own way and didn't ignore it.

I’ve been thinking this also. But did Ethel Cain play at Stagecoach in the past? If so, a Lana album with Southern gothic could work for that festival… assuming it’s done by that time

I have a feeling that this will be cancelled, because, assuming that she started making a compeletely new album after scrapping Lasso, there's no way that this southern gothic new album would be released in time for the Stagecoach. Unless, she decides to keep her usual setlist, but I don't think it would make sense for a country festival. Well, we'll see.

There was an Instagram reel which showed Lana's boyfriends over the years and there was a weirdo comment saying "like the button if you think she belongs to the streets" or something and it had like 2000+ likes
