18 likesThis is probably going to be controversial, and I’m absolutely not trying to downplay her or the work she does, but I don’t really think she ‘needs’ to take a break, and I think the album should just come when it’s done. Yes, she for sure works super hard writing, recording, and mastering..but it’s not like she’s constantly overworked and going on endless tours and doing mad promo. Her last couple eras have been very ‘let the music do the work’ and aside from a couple of videos, interviews, and photoshoots she really hasn’t had to do much. And she said in October she wasn’t touring so she could focus on writing so I don’t think she even wants to take a break

16 likesimagine of an album trailer concept where she walking through - a night trailer park (AKA) - chateau marmont (BTD/PD) - Coney Island Amusement Park (UV) - Bel air (HM) - Hollywood sign (L4L) - a harbour / high voltage electrical plant (NFR) - Yosemite (COCC) - her house (BB) and then showing us the LDR9 main concept, main setting & the album title... I would be deceased.

12 likesIf she ever gets social media back I want it ran by her. It’s been a big part of her since the MySpace days, and it’d feel completely unauthentic if it was a team running it. Even when she broght back honeymoon, it was “for friends only❤️“ so she obviously likes that connection to her fans. I definitely think she’ll use honeymoon to promote the album like she did for Blue Banisters, and I’m sure LDR village will send an e-mail, and there’ll be ads on Facebook and YouTube. I’m not worried about it, she knows the fans will do the promo for her

12 likesActually, HM’s was perfect: Title track teased in June via snippets on IG, title track release the next month, lead single in August, followed by cover reveal, tracklist reveal, fan tracks and the album in September. There were a couple of interviews and videos, but it was mainly about the music, which I love. In retrospect, LFL was incredible as well if we omit the damn release date that never was mentioned until that ugly tweet, at the end of May. There were many singles, MV, snippets, interviews, glamorous photoshoots, all in a 5-month period. NFR was excruciating, Chemtrails and BB were very minimalistic…

Non-album songs
lanaismamom and 10 others liked a post in a topic by bluechemtrails
Never forget that there're always songs you can't find on any standard album. These are mainly non-album singles, collaboration songs released on other albums or movie soundtracks. I think everyone should have a playlist of these songs in addition to her albums so they don't get forgotten. I collected all the songs on Spotify that I could find, but only the ones that have her name included. I know there're many more, the ones where her name is missing were left out. I also omitted remixes and other tracks from Gatsby that only contain samples of Young and Beautiful. Maybe there are more regular songs that I missed, so please help to complete this list (I will add to it): (sorted by release date) Dayglo Reflection (feat. Bobby Womack, The Bravest Man in the Universe; June 8, 2012) Young and Beautiful (soundtrack for The Great Gatsby; March 22, 2013) Once Upon A Dream (soundtrack for Maleficent; January 26, 2014) Big Eyes (soundtrack for Big Eyes; December 23, 2014) I Can Fly (soundtrack for Big Eyes; December 23, 2014) Wait For Life (feat. Emile Haynie, We Fall; January 19, 2015) Prisoner (feat. The Weeknd, Beauty Behind The Madness; August 28, 2015) Stargirl Interlude (feat. The Weeknd, Starboy; November 25, 2016) God Save Our Young Blood (feat: Børns, Blue Madonna; January 2, 2018) You Must Love Me (cover of Madonna's song for the movie Evita; Unmasked: The Platinum Collection; March 5, 2018) Woman (feat. Cat Power, Wanderer; August 15, 2018) Looking For America (August 9, 2019) Season Of The Witch (cover of Donovan, soundtrack for Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark; August 9, 2019) Don't Call Me Angel (feat. Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus; soundtrack for Charlie's Angels; September 13, 2019) I'll Be Home For Christmas (feat. Kacey Musgraves; The Kacey Musgraves Christmas Show; November 29, 2019) Summertime The Gershwin Version (cover of George Gershwin; September 19, 2020) Hallucinogenics (feat. Matt Maeson; September 25, 2020) You'll Never Walk Alone (cover, The End Of The Storm; December 4, 2020) Secret Life (feat. Bleachers, Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night; July 20, 2021) Riverside (feat. Barrie-James, Strange Desire; November 5, 2021) Watercolor Eyes (euphoria season 2 soundtrack; January 21, 2022) Buddy's Rendezvous (feat. Father John Misty, Chloë and the Next 20th Century; June 16, 2022) Snow On The Beach (feat. Taylor Swift, Midnights, October 21, 2022) Say Yes To Heaven (May 19, 2023) Snow On The Beach (feat. Taylor Swift and More Lana Del Rey, Midnights The Till Dawn Edition, May 26, 2023) Lost at Sea (feat. Rob Grant, Lost At Sea, June 1, 2023) Hollywood Bowl (feat. Rob Grant, Lost At Sea, June 8, 2023) Life Lesson (feat. Jon Batiste, World Music Radio, August 18, 2023) Suburban House (feat. 10 likesAnd also, wouldnt this idea be brilliant for LDRVillage? Now picture her own village site - Having a whole section / "area" for each of her era like this: - "Lizzy" beachside trailer park - "Born to Die/Paradise" main square - "Ultraviolence" Alley, - "Honeymoon" boulevard/avenue (not Ariana's) - "Lust for Life" Valley - "Norman Fucking Rockwell" beach town / attraction - "Chemtrails" Country club - "Blue Banisters" - the resort neighbourhood - "RCS/DNC/LDR9" - i have no idea what this supposed to be yet lol with their stuff selling exclusively in each area. This can be her own virtual "astroworld" shit, her own legacy land. Her American dream.

10 likesi'll never understand why people think lana "needs a break" or even think she'll take a break, she's been working constantly ever since she started music in 2005, she's been recording 100s of songs, performing, & working on her art since then, she also doesn't currently deal with touring & promo like most artists do however, i will say that her grandmother passing away might mean we won't hear from her for a little while, or as often, but that doesn't necessarily mean she isn't writing music, it could be a source of grieving & healing for her

9 likesStill thinking about that "album trailer of trailers" or whatever she wanted to make with Rich Lee. She's so random like what's the point
-
9 likesi think "writing" is what she always does, whenever she is free, it's like her food, her drink, her air to breathe. So i believe for Lana, "making music" isn't just "work" at all, that's why she's not overworking, she's literally enjoying her life while writing (Taylor Swift is an example of that). Just like us listening to Venice Bitch in 10 minutes & it sounds like 3 minutes. She literally stated "I'm not a captain, i'm not a pilot, I write, I WRITE!" in SportCruiser. It could be any form: a song, a poem, a story, even a book, anything, as long as she gets to write them down herself (even the QFTC ofcourse )

9 likesThe good old times where I wasn‘t afraid of her interviews with BBC
-
9 likesMy only hope for LDR9 is that she doesn’t release a single super early. She said less than a month ago she wasn’t sure where the album was going, and since then BOZ has said we don’t have to wait long for new music. NFR was extremely excruciating. COTCC was super annoying with the September release date never being acknowledged at all, and a 6 month (I guess it was only 5 but it still was terrible) wait between LMLYLAW and the album. BB was also kind of annoying with the 2 fake release dates and 5 month wait between the trio of singles and the album. I don’t want the single released until she is completely sure of the album rollout
