Signs that the new era has officially started: ✅ Complaining about reused songs 🔘 Calling the lead single a piano flop 🔘 Complaining about Nikki and/or Chuck and/or Charlie 🔘 Thirsting over Rob and/or Jack 🔘 Users pretending to be insiders 🔘 „Lana has become lazy“ 🔘 Finding new song titels through Youtube or Shazam 🔘 A new grass picture on LDR village We‘re getting closer

I still remember the first lie she told us... ...and now we are waiting for her NINTH studio album. It's fucking INSANE.

just because she's reusing lyrics that doesn't mean that the song boz is talking about is not new

I think that—for my own sanity—I won’t expect anything too different sonically because I hate setting my expectations too high For now, I’m telling myself we’re getting familiar production but maybe something more lively…maybe in the vein of FIILY’s chorus. Anything different or more intense sonically will be a pleasant surprise

MANIFESTING TIME LDR9 genre/sub-genre influences: Witchy experimental, alternative rock, spacey-dreampop, summer, surf-culture influence, city pop, hippie aesthetic, trip hop (BTD era), A.K.A era (Dance for Money, Trash Magic, Wayamaya vibes), Trailer park lizzy aesthetic, gothic, Jazzy

it gives me “maybe MAC is Yosemite!” Vibes when everyone heard the candle in the wind lyric

Also, I really hope Boz pulls through with an acronym or some cryptic description for the soundscape. I love when we extrapolate on scraps of info (which are sometimes correct)!!

    1. Artists do that all the time, they scrap lots of songs, rework them to infinity and then release them in a fitter project. When it's not the same song, it's a line or a melody. 2. If you didn't have insider info, you wouldn't be saying that. A good album is a good album, even with lots of reused songs (specially when it comes to overproductuve artist as Lana) 3. Frankenstein is a nice book. Have you watched Penny Dreadful? 4. I'm 100% not not sex material

Okay here is my manifestation for Mr. Antonoff: Whatever he did with that "SportCruiser" background music from "Violet", if he really has anything to involve with LDR9 this time, he needs to do THAT again. I swear "Sportcruiser" has one of the most beautiful melody I've ever heard in my entire life. If Jack Antonoff returns to Lana's discography, he really needs to serve that more often.

I’ve never seen boz this excited abt lana, and him saying “it’s coming and it’s GOOD!” Means that we are ACTUALLY getting it since he’s usually always hesitant about whether songs will actually make the cut when it comes to lana

I am feeling a bit of a beachier LFL vibe for this next record, especially in terms of tracklist order! I imagine there will be more introspective tracks (following the levels and layers of Text Book, Blue Banisters, and Wildflower Wildfire) towards the end, but I also think there will be at least a few fun, summery tracks in terms of production. Maybe something along the lines of Doin Time, Freak, or Florida Kilos, but with a slightly more muted soundscape particular to the new album. I think the lyrics BoZ teased could be one of those tracks.

I still remember amoeba, I still remember trópico premiere, I still remember when she performed west coast for the first time when she was headlining Coachella, when she teased honeymoon with the og video on twittter with just the strings playing OUFF now we’re on the ninth it is insane

Longing and thirsting for another hypnotique track like West Coast or COCC. For me it’s not about wanting to repeat a certain style, rather it’s about evoking the same mesmerizing and tantalizing sensations that grace my eardrums and reduce my vocabulary to oh wow, Oh Wow, OH WOW

I have to agree, i almost forgot to put the jazzy sounds into my MANIFESTING LIST. Lana is so potential at jazz - specifically the jazz-rock ballad melancholy vibes that we heard from "Terrence Loves You", that song in particular is one of the reason why Honeymoon is Lana's most glamourous album she has ever made - not her best perhaps, but rather glamourous, expensive, priceless, unaffordable. I can understand why she chose to cover Nina Simone & referenced to Billie Holiday for several times in this era not just that jazz rock, we heard her channeled jazz-country in Dance Till We Die. I'd love to hear her doing screaming / scatting with her vocals like that, or just the same way she did with jazz live performances of Million Dollar Man she used to do back then - that had most of us fallen in love with.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind an album that had instrumentals similar to Violet. It has some of her best ones in my opinion. They're all so beautiful and some of them have this slight jazzy element that I love

Yep Lana with producers tends to be a bit misleading. I bet she'd be able to work with Max Martin and do an acoustic piano ballad Either way I sense LDR9 being less intense and "serious" than the last albums. I know it can be therapeutic for her to write really personal songs but it must be also a bit mentally draining so maybe she just wants to have fun with the next record. I miss her bridges where she just says random pretty things like champagne crystal yayo diamonds . Even if it doesn't happen, just the fact that she reached out to Kali for a song is a great indicator of a change in sound (unless we get another LFL with 3 or 4 different genres)

Ok we know that the song BOZ teased is not RCS/LYTAN but I wonder if RCS/LYTAN will be on the new album too. I would love to hear it. Also when does BOZ get to hear new stuff? I always thought maybe when things are getting mastered. If that's the case maybe the first songs are getting mastered right now. Idk but I could see that the new album will be finished in March/ April & then gets submitted

I re-read BOZ’s commented and he said (about the phrase Rock Candy Sweet) “she must have liked it too much to leave it in the past” so to me, that’s suggesting it’s a new song, and not a 2019 Jack track
