I just want clear vocals and good mixing unless it makes sense for the song to sound a bit rough like White Dress or Fingertips which are masterpieces

Jack & Lana had great chemistry for NFR, bit ever since, it feels like that spark is gone and it feels like they just work together out of comfort. A&W or WD are nice exceptions, but basically every other track they did post NFR would surely be better with another producer. The worst part is that Jack always brings Laura Siska and her terrible mixing.

With chemtrails, her vocals were crystal clear for me, but after tunnel… why did every Jack-produced song sounded so muffled!! Could’ve been so much better if they didn’t mess them up. Jack or whoever mixed her vocals in this album needs to PAY, meanwhile when we come to Zach-produced songs, Candy necklace, title track and the grants all sounded crystal clear to me, Jack is the problem

I really don't care who produced Lasso tbh, Lana is the magician and she's always cooking. I just know that this album is going to be a meaningful experience in a way that only Lana can move us. A classic genre with a unique edge I personally have full faith that Lasso is still coming in the way that Lana has envisioned.

Lasso needs to be majorly produced by Luke, since he’s an actual country artist. Or better yet, some randos/unknowns from Nashville, because they’d give it their ALL producing for someone as well known as Lana. I like Jack overall, and I do have quite a few favorite Lana songs produced by him, but he doesn’t have quite the range to blend genres in a unique fresh way, everything he touches has Jackisms that make it all sound like a Jack song. It doesn’t help he’s working with every single popular artist he can. I think of everyone in the music industry, Jack is the one who needs to take a couple of years off.

Tough slander is just a sign that some people here can't stand the fact that her last boring flop songs never get the recognition that tough gets. Tough is a top Ten lana masterpiece.

How is it that (?) ….. of the two Boiler Room’s… the Ibiza one is like, just a really really good Boiler Room… but the FIRST one… it’s like you watch it, and it feels like you’re watching a film. It’s like a movie. It transcends the typical Boiler Room sort of feel and presentation. It’s so good. It is 100% the best Boiler Room since Fred again IMO.

I'm glad I'm reading these latest posts because so much of the OB producing and mixing sounds muddy and awful to my ears. To me, all of the new tracks on Blue Banisters sound 100% better. This is why I have 'problems' with Jack A., though I liked his production on Lorde's Solar Power.

Talking about her albums with Jack Antonoff, every one of them had this kind of a semi-experimental, long and totally unique/different track which was also a huge fan favorite, like Venice Bitch, White Dress and A&W. I'm pretty sure that Lasso will have one of those tracks as well, since it's produced by Jack!
