Mike said “you all have at least one song on the new album” in his interview with Anthony Fantano. So I’m wondering if that was Wildflower Wildfire and the rest of Blue Banisters was done with Gabe Simon and Zach Dawes. Since Mike said they’re planning on working together for a while, maybe they’re now recording for the next album. Lana did confirm to that fan in Texas that the album was finished and she was working on “new music.”

I still wouldn’t hold onto ANYTHING Mike says when it comes to the album. He said literally days later that he doesn’t talk about new music. He probably mentioned the one song they did (WW) because it was set to come out in a week as @IanadeIrey pointed out, when the fan met her in Texas she said she was done with the album (then still titled RCS) and was working on new music. that paired with Mike’s comment about hoping to work on a future project indicates the album is done and they’re working on the follow up. I don’t see this being an NFR rollout and I am confident we’ll have the album by early fall at the latest

okay, i know we all think she's currently working on ldr9, but i honestly don't think that's true... she's actually working on ldr9, ldr10, ldr11, ldr12, ldr13, ldr14, AND ldr15!

i think this album could be "revenge" in the sense that she's being completely honest and unapologetic about her struggles, the media has always slammed her for talking about heavy topics in her music, for having "daddy issues", and how she potrays herself as a woman, in text book, she talks about her "daddy issues" yet she isn't talking about it in a way where she feels ashamed, it's like she's saying "yeah, maybe i do have daddy issues, sometimes i had a strained or unfulfilling relationship with my father, that's just the way it is" or in wildflower wildfire, which talks about her very strained relationship with her mother, where she's recalling what she's been through, but it ends in a very cathartic way, where she's saying "yeah, this woman has put me through hell, yet i've learned from it" i think her unapologetic honesty and her drive for catharsis is her revenge, but i wouldn't doubt that ldr9 will talk about these topics as well

I’d not be surprised if she releases a 3rd album this year. She seems random and chaotic lately.

Even if that studio pic is new the album has to be done already. I think she's already working on the next one. She's been working on BB since 2020 and we know our girl Lana is FAST when writing and recording. With that being said, if she's already moving on I hope there are videos and photoshoots done already... or maybe all we get is the 4th version of that selfie

I think her most contemplative album is coming - and that’s saying a lot because if you could sum up Lana’s entire lyrical sensibility in one word, one of your options would be “contemplative.” How surreal is it that we’re (allegedly) 5 weeks away from hearing it?!

exactly!!!l I’m sure it’s annoying/stressful to be Mike right now He doesn’t like talking about music before it’s out, and there’s Lana announcing the album months ahead of time. So naturally all her fans are bombarding him for info and he doesn’t wanna give it out. I think Zach and Gabe worked on the album October to probably Janurary or February, Mike hopped on for a track or two around March, and the album was finished not long after. but that’s just a classic NikoGo theory

The album def isn’t coming on the 4th. But I’d rather her take her time with these songs honestly. I don’t want a rushed album.

Lana isn't taking the iconic sarcastic approach from UV to address the critics this time around: QFTC was her addressing those criticisms back in 2012 again because of the sudden appreciation for her by the media because of NFR! and when those criticisms came back to haunt her AGAIN (along with new ones) she probably decided the best way to derail her detractors was to tell her story literally. Back when the BB teaser first released we thought she was gonna talk about some guy but the fact that she's opening up about her issues with her parents is a huge step for her. This'll be her most personal work to date considering from the content of the three singles she released and it'll have the critics speechless.

GOOD MORNING I have awoken and arrived here because I heard a new Lana Del Rey song in my dream last night. It was very similar to the three new songs in terms of songwriting but the sound wasn’t like anything I’ve heard before. It was super super experimental and synthy and retro at the same time. Manifesting!!!!!!!!

Is WW gonna be the new fan punching bag or something? Personally I really love it and the production whilst nothing incredible is still solid and not far from Jack.

So many questions with that pic in the studio ... mostly if BB is done and these new songs will be on the next album.... If she is still recording BB, we can kiss goodbye anything happening in June, but if the album is done, maybe Chemtrails-BB and LDR9 are made to be seen as some sort of “trilogy” or complement to each other?!? Chemtrails is about her relationship with fame and her music BB is (so far) about her psyche and what hurt her. LDR9 could be about the next move/ the more “experimental stuff” (with hints of country maybe?)

i think this is great and shows they’re really productive and excited about what they’re working on, by the way it could be a session from working on BB songs or a current one where she is working on LDR9

Bb is not NFR 3.0. Cocc itself is diff from Nfr. And also COCC isnt as horrible as people make it out to be. Cocc gave us WD/TFJ/CHEM/YOSE/DBJAG/DTWD/WAH All stellar tracks And the 3 tracks we got from BB are the kind of music I love. I know they may not be everyone's favorite ..but doesnt mean she lost her creativity/lost her songwriting. But yes ofc everyone has different taste.

October 2022 confirmed as the release month for the record after RCS (1st June 2021) and BB (4th of July 2021)! It keeps getting better
