Not people getting mad cause nothing came out today I thought it was clear that the album was renamed and pushed back to July. If you want to be delusional (like me), when nothing happens just keep on with your day and wait for the next random date/info/whatever

I’m gonna moan again (sorry). But I do find it very disrespectful and rude to constantly mention release dates then say nothing or even apologise when it’s delayed. It shows she takes us for granted that we will just buy the music and so does what she wants. I appreciate her putting out 2 albums in such a short duration to keep us fed but it is borderline emotional abuse to keep getting peoples hopes up…it also means people think she’s a liar and untrustworthy. How hard can it be just to wait until she has concrete information and a 100% set date??

Some of you need real life hobbies that don’t include holding onto Lana’s every word. Like I love this forum & it’s definitely fun to speculate and discuss the music / release dates and strategies (or lack thereof) .... but if you’re claiming emotional abuse over something as insignificant as a song release date not being met, you need psychological help.

Lana said the album is coming on July 4th. At the end of the day, an individual is the only one responsible for their own frustration about an album release. Maybe for some people, being on LB and in this thread is like watching paint dry - I think the entitlement and claim that Lana has inflicted "emotional abuse" upon people really says more about them than it does about her. am i missing something? i don't understand why everybody is so angry, she probably should've deleted the original rock candy sweet announcement but i figured that once she posted the blue banisters announcement it meant the original release date was cancelled? you guys really make this entire experience a lot more difficult for yourselves, and anybody who's saying that her actions are "borderline abusive" doesn't have any idea what actual abuse is... saying she's abusive for not following through with a cancelled release date that she forgot to delete... lol...

Was it not clear that June 1st wasn't a thing when she posted after that album was coming July 4th? And then she blessed us with 3 surprise masterpieces before the original date of June 1st.

Her fans that share her Bumble profile, stalk and harass her friends, family and managers and tell them to go fuck themselves, to die, etc. That's "borderline emotional abuse."

Oh yea, she put out 3 NEW 5 minute songs. Ya'll are really tripping. I saw someone on ATRL say "Textbook hasn't aged well" Umm it's been out for like less than 2 weeks. how the hell do songs age that fast for someone. I just don't get it.

july 4th looking at all the days in june

guys we’re literally 1 (one) month and 2 day (TWO) away from the release (assuming it’s really coming but she usually just delays an album once not twice so...). in exactly 2 days, on a friday, we’ll be exactly one month away from the release date. that means we’re definitely about to enter preorder/cover/tracklist insta post territory i think chances are decent that we might get that on friday and if not next week (again assuming nothing changed date wise ). she probably won’t officially announce an album a week or 2 ahead of its release so i’m pretty positive we’re getting something in the coming 14 days. strap on ladies we’ve got something to look forward to

I'm excited what the album will have in store for us apart from what we've heard..based on the three singles I could imagine more grand piano , more synth driven songs, a few " upbeat "songs with percussion & even some jazzy songs. And of course powerful vocals , maybe even some belting & screaming ( looking at you Dealer) & really personal lyrics & stories I can totally see this album more like a Honeymoon experience..overall slower songs/ ballads & some more "upbeat" songs sprinkled in there Manifesting an e-guitar solo & some strings on a few songs

I’ll understand the meltdowns July 4th (assuming she doesn’t change the date by then) but she very clearly did let us know the date changed. With Chemtrails she gave us the September 5th date, said nothing, and we didn’t get our first song until October. I think this is a complete 180 situation.

People complain about piano ballads as if Video Games, French Restaurant, Yayo, Old Money, Ultraviolence (Demo), Cherry Blossom, Old Money, Is This Happiness, God Knows I Tried, Terrence Loves You, Beautiful People, Change and most of NFR! didin't exist.

and when she comes back from a 5 year hiatus with a stripped back 10 track piano only album then what ?

There’s nothing wrong with being disappointed with her lack of communication to her fanbase - even though she owes us nothing - but to claim she’s emotionally abusing her fans is ridiculous... The disappointment isn’t even warranted though because we got 3 new songs the other week & an updated release date for the album on July 4th. If you’re upset nothing came yesterday, that’s on you.
