I’m reallllly manifesting “The Revenge of Lana Del Rey” vibes. Like if she goes full camp and glamour again just as a big fuck you to everyone who says she can’t I’d liveeeee and the few looks we have seen lately have been so stunning. The Swarovski necklace and those gorgeous gowns she wore for the shoot were so old money Long Island vibes and I think were in for a treat.

What makes Lana even harder to predict is the fact that she never ever follows trends (Maybe the trap elements of LFL were the closest we have of Lana doing something similar to the musical climate of that time). With other artists you can expect their next album to be either disco or pop punk or whatever is popular now but with Lana you'll never know I'm obviously not bashing artists that follow trends but part of Lana's magic in my opinion is that she's on her own lane and artistic path

Wasn't The Revenge of Lana Del Rey one of the working titles for BTD? It made no sense back then cause nobody knew who LDR was but now it would be kinda cheesy (?) idk. I'd love it for camp reasons but I'd prefer something less explicit if she went into the whole revenge thing. Maybe just one word like Vengeance or something similar would be better.

I literally discovered Running Up The Hill via covers because every alt singer and their mom covered it. Sky's mom is embarrassing and jealous af. We can say that Sky is a great artist and the song fits her so much while also admitting that there is a dose of jealousy because Halsey has been so much luckier and successful. Btw my favorite cover of that song is by Meg Myers

I don’t like Halsey I think she’s average, overrated and tries to be something she’s not and I don’t like her voice… Sky Ferreira’s mom should pipe down though it’s embarrassing at this point.
