this is my first album drop on LB since i only joined last month & i just want to say this album release is even more exciting to me than usual because the fact i get to experience it with you all here I love how everyone has different insights, opinions & interpretations to offer on the work - it makes for some really interesting conversation that really broadens the horizons. this is my only form of social media & its def a healthier experience than i ever had with the others like twitter & IG obviously there are some trolls & mean spirited ppl here too, thats just unavoidable online and even irl tbh, but its def not the majority. March 24th will be so great,cant wait

I haven’t posted on here lately but I’ve caught up with the meltdowns of the last couple weeks and here are my key takeaways/opinions: •Kintsugi is THAT bitch, I love them so much, and appreciate them wanting to keep some of the music secret so we have surprises when we listen • Let The Light In is one of the songs I’m most intrigued about, as I love FJM and the connection him and Lana have always had, I think it will be a beautiful song • really just excited to hear Lana’s cute lil giggle over the pastor interlude, like that’s gonna be so iconic •BOOB?!?!?! • I definitely feel like she’s got more surprises in store, another interview/ photoshoot is coming. And of course some MV’s • Elle really, really, reeeeeally needs to ban that anime biyotch- they never say anything positive and have accounts on other social media bashing our girl. That crazy needs BANNED, or they will just continue to start fights. Which is not cool, ya dildo! In terms of frustrating pre-releases, I don't think anything is ever beating NFR. At one point, I had started referring to it as "NFR: Never Fucking Releasing" We were in the trenches. However, I do really hope we get at least one more single before the album comes out. Or a video for the title track at the very least. I feel like that song would work so well with visuals and I really wish Lana had included a video with the single release

tbh, i really think her computer theft was just some random burglary, i don’t think she was stalked and targeted because she’s lana and someone just wanted to get their hands on her laptop and hard drives specifically, in this situation at least. i think this burglary happened, and then after the Ocean Blvd and Fingertips demo snippets appeared online, that was her own assumption for how someone got their hands on that stuff. I can’t speak for Ocean Blvd, but it’s worth noting that Fingertips is a Drew Erickson song, and so is the Beautiful Strings Mix that leaked a while ago, so there are already people out there who know how to access Drew’s files. But I really don’t think she was specifically targeted in that way with that intention, and I don’t think anything off her stolen laptop will leak because that wasn’t the intention of whoever robbed her, they just wanted to steal the computer of this random woman with a nice car in a rich LA neighborhood and make some money selling it I do think the album is circulating more than previous albums have though. Likely stemming through the mixes being passed around at Interscope, and them getting into the wrong hands. Unless it was Kintsugi, 111, or BOZ fucking with us, it’s shady as hell that we discovered the title of Fishtail through a random music credits website that anyone can make any contribution to, and that we discovered the title of Pepper through last.fm scrobbles

Can't believe she's finally serving a spoken cooking book for us foodies The Grants definitely is about a family dinner where Patty burnt the food, so they have to order something. DYKTTATUOB is actually about Lanz standing in line to get that food and getting lost in her thoughts as she's waiting for her turn. Sweet is a fabulous, gustatory description of the dessert she ordered. A&W is about root beer, like, it's obvious. The Judah Smith Interlude is about the sacramental bread at Churchome. It's actually why she attends there: it's like, the best thing she ever tasted. Again, Candy Necklace is obvious. It's her favorite jewelry because you can eat it. The Jon Batiste Interlude tells us how she realized her life wasn't music but food, so she decides to become a chef. Kintsugi is a side song about the importance of your dish choice when presenting food. She sings about how how she had to repair her favorite plate after she accidentally broke it. In Fingertips, she talks about the best technique to knead bread. Paris, Texas is the central recipe of the album: a tex mex coq au vin. GPSOTSOMFWHDSF is here to remind us about the importance of fresh ingredients: go fish your own salmon, lipsters! Let The Light In is a fun song about her fridge, and how light penetrates her soul whenever she opens it. Margaret is about her favorite pizza: margherita. Simple but efficient, two words to describe her cuisine. Fishtail teaches us how to prepare a fish. Peppers is about seasoning, like, anyone could've guessed that. Taco Truck is super emotional. It's the follow-up of Bartender. She finally fulfills her dream of serving tacos while being on the road with the truck she bought in the middle of the night. It's a beautiful piece about the freedom and creativity cooking ultimately gives her.
