She noted physical production delays as the reason, but I’m wondering if TAP just didn’t want two of their artists releasing the same day since Lana’s got pushed after Ellie’s and figured the Ellie fans could wait a little bit longer while the Lana fans would’ve gone feral with a third release date from a pushback

anyways... Lana has her billboard thingy tomorrow so let's anticipate that

also for those who aren't in ~ the know ~ bubbling under is basically a separate chart done by billboard for songs that don't quite reach the hot 100 on their first run but may have the potential to reach it it's essentially an extension of the hot 100, so for example if someone got a #7 hit on bubbling under it's essentially the equivalent of a #107 hit the main reason why it's a separate chart is that it's mainly used to highlight songs that have the potential to become bigger hits - if a song has reached the hot 100 even if it was a #100 position it cannot chart on bubbling under

almost every album since the beginning of the internet has leaked prior to its release you can mitigate it as much as possible, but no record company can control every single store across the world; also, leaking/listening to a leak has absolutely nothing to do with respect

I love this part of the pre release. Everyone is constantly on edge, a leak can happen at any moment, physicals are in circulation and the gays are going wild over on that site It's just so thrilling

The grants better be absolutely stunning because I feel like the title track is such an obvious song to open the album with the haunting piano note, the strings, the deep breath, the question opening up the album about to take you on the journey of a lifetime it would have been perfect

I'm not judging Fingertips based on those snippets. I thought the Ocean Blvd snippet was like one of the worst things I've ever heard, but the full song is like in my top 20 of Lana's entire discography. Just don't go in expecting a melody with how wordy the song is, and I'm sure you all will like it. All three of the insiders had nothing but positive things to say about the track.
