It’s sooo much worse how they swarmed her when she had her baby like that’s seriously endangering the child. Thank you so much☺️ Yeah, what Eclipse mention is that the album official name was "XCX" (which now makes more sense with the follow up album "Charli" and the whole shout out thing "Eh-eh-eh XCX Charli!“. But, the whole promo campaign was named" XCX World" which included some videos, websites, merch, smartphone apps, games, a brand "world/city" full of stores, services and products. This is what our beastie @Eclipse shared, all credits to him.

This loss was such a gut punch. I've known of Sophie for many years. Last year I started getting really into her. I didn't listen to her whole discography but I watched all of her interviews I could find and started to know more about her as a person. I was like ok she has made 200 songs - I'll listen to them later. It's okay to cry and Immaterial were the ones I listened to on repeat in last November. I was informed that my work agreement would be terminated due to covid. I was crushed and listened to It's okay to cry on repeat. As a queer individual I really felt touched and inspired her whole journey. Now I've been listening to her whole discography and I'm just in awe of her talent.

This is exactly how I feel about NFR’s less lyrically nuanced moments. In those moments where she wasn’t being super poetic or “insightful,” she was delivering really on-the-spot & honest emotional expression. I think the chorus of Cinnamon Girl is a great example of this; it’s not particularly complex from a lyrical standpoint, but it verbalizes a lot of unspoken and implicit hesitations, and she manages to deliver the lines in such a way that is both intimate and vulnerable.

she needs to release an international electra heart 10th anniversary edition with buy the stars, sex yeah, living dead, lonely hearts club, radioactive, evol, electra heart, maybe even just desserts, and some unreleased tracks if we're lucky such as scab and plaster, miss y and jealousy, let alone acoustic versions of radioactive, starring role and lies; these are the highlights of her career and they show her vocal and emotional strength at their best. and who cares if some tracks don't fit the electra heart story concept (like miss y), i mean, it's just a reedition of her most iconic era for her fans. if she misses such an amazing opportunity i have no words left.
