AHH having a nostalgia moment over this thread. Its due date is so near My Lanaboards birth was during this pre-release and it's honestly been one of the funnest things I've ever witnessed. The enormous amount of meltdowns, gates, delusion, scat, cursed dates, drama, shenanigans, theories and fanmade cover arts featuring all of these iconic things: Vinyl colours, August 5th, September 5th, February 26th, QFTC, team realistic, team delulu, cocctober, 3 days and 4 midnights, Seafoam Nova, Dolphin Flower, soon, sylvia, sean, september, spooky, shanice, sheridan, surprise release, shazam, sophie magate , magate 2.0 , dancing lana blingeegate, mesh mask, boargate, the never-ending violet era (Sylvia...), brujademusica, source code excavations, "Twitch? Lana del rey WITCH" mariah.gif, page 666, Margaret Thatcher, pixel counting, ALBUM COVER MELTDOWNS And also many many posts of: "...ya know my problem with nfr is that i just think it's so..." my heart is pounding just thinking about the release day, and those few seconds before you drop the needle or click the play button where you're just in so much anticipation to hear the album, i think i will be really fidgety and fussy before playing it, like a part of me will not want to play it because im enjoying the anticipation so much that i dont want it to end, and the other part is dying to hear it, also i will need to make sure i am 100% feeling good before so, i will need to be the perfect level of drunk or high, i will need to have the perfect make up and hair, and i will need to have the perfect room temperature... idk if thats just me but yeah, only with lana albums cus hello... lana

So I'm gonna spill, so I had a conversation with Eclipse last week about the album and he confirmed to me that the "secret" outtake other than Dealer doesn't exist. Apparently Dealer is the only outtake from COCC that the gays as of now currently know of. Want to clarify that because I was one of the girls who clung to that one piece of misinformation and made several posts about. Apparently the gays also have the entire album including Dealer and Yosemite.

No. The only reason the Pre-Pre-Release for LDR7 was created the same day was because Lana announced the record on the night that NFR dropped. (Of course at that time it was called White Hot Forever, but it was still LDR7) Pre-Pre-Release threads are typically only created once there's some solid indication that an album is actually in the works, such as a song being teased. For example, the time between the creation of the LFL Post-Release Thread & the LDR6 Pre-Release Thread was 8 months, and it was created after Lana teased 'Happiness is a Butterfly' on IG, the first song teased from NFR. So, unless Lana decides to announce LDR8 on the night Chemtrails drops like she did last time, it'll be awhile before a LDR8 Pre-Pre-Release Thread is made x

So y'all better get your facts right and stop with this "critics all agreed to praise NFR!" conspiracy. Those who've always liked her kept on liking her and loving and understanding her music more with each release... then you obviously have critics who didn't like her past work and now praise her, but simply because they didn't think her past music was good, which is okay... and then you have critics who always trashed her and still trash her to death, not even bothering to understand the music. NFR! was praised because it's, as LDR said, so good there's nothing not to like about it. She just gets better and better (in the studio at least). Critics were shook. The GP was shook. There isn't anything sketchy behind its praise. So Chemtrails will receive great reviews from supporting critics and hopefully it's good enough to convince those who still doubt her. I'm expecting something between 80 and 90 tbh.

I actually don’t know what I’m going to do with myself after March 19th. My first of day of being in the lockdown was March 15th 2020, the day Lana posted that IG photo dump with Grenadine Quarantine and If This is the End I Want a Boyfriend (back when we thought those were songs) and for most of this pandemic, since May, we’ve been looking forward to Chemtrails. Of course, life moves on and I’m sure we all have developments in our careers and school and lives in general after this, but it just feels so weird since Chemtrails was kind of like an absolute thing to look forward to during these times of stagnancy and now that it’s actually here, it’s surreal! We did it!

Every time an artist I love releases a new album I'm afraid I'll suddenly die and never hear it. Am I the only one?

i have such crazy memories of listening to each album for the first time since 2014.. With Ultraviolence i was using all my cell data to listen to the leaked songs on youtube with no order on the back of a cab Honeymoon i was in my grandmas house visiting her and i just locked myself in the bathroom with my earphones so i could listen to the ultra-lq UO recordings of the album Lust For Life was the best one imo, i listened to it when it leaked like 4am before school while staring at complete darkness enjoying the music.. Only with NFR! i had a regular listening experience when it released at midnight on spotify (i didnt listen when it leaked)... i wonder if COCC will leak early causing me to anxiously listen to it while in some random situation or if i will be able to keep myslef together and listen to it like a normal person lmao
