23 likesI love Chemtrails with my whole heart but I want her next album to be more wilder/ upbeat in terms of sounds ...wouldn't mind hip hop but I would prefer a rock album to be honest.. just want a lot of electric guitars , her screaming on some songs, heavy drums , psychedelic influences, maybe some surfy & bluesy influences as well A DREAM

22 likesNormally I’m not one to say things like this because I believe everyone is valid as a fan, but I really dislike how so many of these types of people (usually on Twitter) dismiss some of the music by saying “FLOP TILL WE DIE IS BORING AJSJNSJDHAH *insert random female artist* OUTSOLD” and it makes me wince. That’s so disrespectful to the art. You don’t have to love every single song but people don’t have to be immature about it lol! That’s why I’m happy that Lana will continue to go deeper with the music and not cater to the parts of her fanbase that will not even try to appreciate it/understand it - regardless of age (although it is mostly 15 year olds).

21 likesI think what annoys me so much about Lana doing folk is just, she's so much bigger than folk. Her capability is huge and she take her voice in so many different directions. With folk i just feel like she's wasting her potential. She sounds great doing it, but i find it too minimal for her. I often have this urge to wanna hear her scream on a song again, or use her voice in a really quirky and funny way again, like she did in the Lizzy and BTD days. If u think about it she hasn't really used her voice to play a character since Ultraviolence! I want her to moan and scream and sound desperate. I don't want to hear her sing softly on another full record. Not when AKA, BTD and UV are literally right there, wearing crowns in her discography. Rock Candy Sweet needs to be rock, it neeeeeeds to be!

20 likesi think this album will be a rural-influenced rock record with a moody & bluesy influence, like sad girl, thunder, flipside, queen of the gas station, etc. maybe with a folk influence as well... and i know i'm going to enjoy it she's not great at describing her music so if it's a "country album" it'll probably have the same moody, dark, bluesy sound of "breaking up slowly" but hopefully without a featured artist

15 likesIf any of you meet her around LA can you please ask her about the album instead of just taking a selfie. Like in a respectful way, ‘thanks for the selfie Lana I’m looking forward to Rock Candy...it’s still coming June 1st right?’ I know the excitement can make your mind go blank but she is known for spilling details when asked directly...the book signing for example.

15 likesFor most of my life my genre of preference has been alternative pop-rock with some random things mixed in there too of course haha BUT I somehow completely fell in love with songs like Summer Bummer from her - one of the genres I just absolutely adore with a voice like Lana's and her lyrics. Makes me feel like such a baddieeee. I'd love anything "loud" from her again whether it's rock, hip hop, psychedelic, trap - just hit me with it. Of course, not everyone will be super happy with whatever she comes out with next. But... since the last two albums were rather minimal, folky and ballad based, I think it's about time for things to get lit again, no?

15 likesI find that especially since LFL, a lot of what she talks about for one era, it will appear in the next one. - The Greatest talks about missing New York and rock music. In an interview, she talks about what she misses is the time when she would listen to Milk by Kings of Leon -> White Dress - Insta of her listening to For Free with a Yosemite tee in 2017 ish -> For Free during NFR tour and appearing on COCC. etc So it will be like an early Kings of Leon album (“southern rock”) mixed with Arctic Monkeys/Last Shadow Puppets stylings, me thinks

15 likesI mean, Lana's in her mid 30's, the teenagers don't get that BTD came out a decade ago. I'm not saying they can't relate to Chemtrails. But Chemtrails is literally an album about Lana understanding that she is no longer in her early youth days. Teenagers can rant, but they simply won't fully understand the material until later in life.

15 likesI love hip-hop but I don’t see Lana going into that direction for this record. I think the sound will be more upbeat, however, so I’m imagining something in the vein of classic rock with a “band” sound. I think that her saying she loves bluesy, outlaw music to Music Week kind of means that this next album will be like that - I remember she said when NFR came out that she loved singer-songwriter music with “folky” elements and that obviously inspired her to make Chemtrails the way it ended up being. Historically, it seems that whatever she says she’s inspired by at the moment is what the sound of her next record will be.

14 likesIs it possibile that they didn’t change her social networks pfps and headers for COCC era cause it’s shaping up to be a quick “transitional” one? I mean they could’ve put to use all those NK black and white shots... This is stupid and superficial I know but I really hope she changes her Twitter pfp for RCS cause I’m tired of seeing that ugly Doin’ Time single cover
