19 likessome of the people here have SUCH a problem with saying shit about every aspect of her life, even saying shit about her appearence, nitpicking about her highlights or discussing her weight, it's really invasive and weird... i just feel like there's hardly any compassion towards her, it's honestly really upsetting

19 likesI'm starting to think this album will have nothing to do with revenge, I'm getting the feeling it's the same situation when she describes her next album and it end up sounding nothing like she said my expectations for this album is honestly at the lowest bar possible right now, even though I'm still in love with the 3 singles I just don't think she's gonna pull half of the things we're expecting in terms of revenge and such, only the "I'm telling my own story" thing seems legit

19 likesDumb theory but hear me out... so far all three singles reference some type of song: Blue Banisters: "Diamonds and Rust" Text Book: "Old Man River" Wildflower Wildfire: "Comfortably Numb" & "Lithium" (the lithium one could be a stretch but whatever) Now yeah I know Lala likes to make references to songs but... it's just very prominent in those three tracks and it could be a recurring theme throughout the album With that being said - according to BOZ a leaked song could show up on this album and the only one that could blend in with the album's sound and contents so far that I could think of would be "Thunder". Thunder references "Mr. Brightside" and yes I'm a delulu at heart - and even tho we love you "Cherry Blossom" I really think a reworked version of "Thunder" would work really well with the album since it features the same lounge singer vibe as "Text Book" and "Wildflower Wildfire" - and because of Daddy Dawes

18 likeswhat a lot of people here still don’t get is yeah sure the lyrics are great, they always have been. but after all the poetry, nfr, the "deep lyrics" a lot of us just want PRODUCTION again. no matter what kind but something with OOMPH and BASS. especially when the lyrics discussion is a bit…eh. does she write better today than ten years ago? absolutely. would i take another video games (lyrically and production wise) over her reciting her grocery lists and mentioning nikki or courtney for the 10th time ? absolutely fucking yes.

17 likesLet this be clear, I'm not not a fan of disturbing art - but there has to be a place in Lana‘s recent discography for a beautiful album cover. Im fed up with other stans saying that I should wish for a non-glamorous cover when in reality I'm just a glamorous person. Can Lana please go back to covers where she feels embodied, beautiful by being in love even if the relationship is not perfect, or where she is dancing for money - or whatever she want -without being crucified??????

16 likesI still wish that we'd gotten something similar to her Interview Magazine video/shoot from September of last year for last era or this era. Everything about that was a 10/10 for me, and it matched up so well with the pictures/videos of her wearing pearls and reading Violet (and the birds Instagram story post). Part of me still thinks it could make a comeback for this era, but I really don't know what to expect from BB anymore lol. Weirdly enough, it doesn't feel like the three singles were the start to the era for me, but more so a precursor to it

15 likesexactly the joni mitchell wannabe “i occasionally sleep in the woods" canyon girl cosplay has been going on for long enough. what’s even wrong with wanting a well thought out, eventful era with concerts, live performances, clear info, great photoshoots and most importantly someone who at least PRETENDS to somewhat care about her art. and i agree the fact random people with a smartphone, an online thread and stalker tendencies like us come up with better ideas, concepts, covers and designs than a whole modern "pop star" with a huge record label on her side is just beyond me. like at this point just hire someone from here and we’ll do half your work for you…for free ().

14 likesSome of the tracks are so intimate (particularly WW) that it’s difficult to imagine her lip-syncing them for a super polished video. I figure this will be an unpopular opinion, but if she were to assign a music video to something like WW, I think it would benefit from her early DIY approaches (think Video Games or Carmen). I think this would really allow the lyrics to speak for themselves while also granting her the freedom to insert little clips from different media she feels would enhance her narrative. Also, it would be a full-circle moment in returning to her roots and reclaiming her past, but that’s just me lol

14 likesAm I the only one who has the impression that this era is going to go more unnoticed than Chemtrails? I am not manifesting it of course, but honestly when Lana said she wanted revenge I didn't imagine three ballads. It should be noted that I love the three songs, but when I thought about revenge I imagined a cover like Lorde's and now that I brought up Lorde's comeback; if Lana's album comes out close to Lorde and Billie's releases, it is likely that they overshadow Lana, starting with the fact that Billie is quite popular now and Lorde had 4 years without releasing music and appeared with such a service.

13 likeswe're living in a world where we're pushing inclusivity and self-love yet i feel like i often see people speaking about her appearence, it's honestly sick, in a world where photoshop & toxic beauty standards are rampant, she keeps it real & geniune and that's honestly very rare with celebrities, we shouldn't nitpick over stuff that's ultimately not a big deal

12 likesDidn't Chuck shoot Honeymoon? I love that cover and I think that she can do great things. It's Lana who needs a new creative outlet and concentrates more on her creative vision. She sold herself not only as a singer, but as a visual artist as well. It's really unfair on her part not to put any effort into that. Minimalistic is one thing, lack of vision and laziness is in a completely different range

11 likesThis whole thread is just the same discourse and back-and-forth every few days with silence in between Nothing about it feels like it's to talk about the album, just rehashing what's already been said since the Chemtrails prerelease thread. At the end of the day, people can have their opinions, but I feel like I've heard everyone's a thousand times now (including my own)

11 likesi know this isn’t 2010-2014 ldr anymore and that’s the whole problem. honeymoon was a very lowkey era yet it was 10 times more thought out and professional than anything we’ve gotten since. even lfl as and era was nearly perfect, especially compared to anything since nfr. she can do whatever she wants sure but one more era like this and she’s out. the "her fans will buy anything and support anything" only goes so far. it already shows on here, the sheer number of people who are either unstanning or seriously getting tired of her unprofessionalism, none of us will put up with her carelessness forever and it just starts to get annoying that she seems to be the only person who doesn’t give a fuck about her art when she should. none of us want to see her fade away or lose her contract or give up and let the media and haters win but that’s kinda what she’s been doing for a while now and it’s just… very irritating.

11 likesDidn't Katy Perry eventually decide to go with a fan's artwork of her recent album? Lana take notes! Honestly the artwork some of you create for Lana is astounding, like genuine talent right there. It's lowkey embarrassing how a major label can't produce the same level of effort when it comes to the aesthetic side of things. It's not asking for the whole world. What's so bad about having a cover that truly conveys the overall theme and meaning of the music?

11 likesi kinda feel a bit like this tbh. i loved nfr but it never hit me like others did before. i loved cocc but it feels like a 9 track ep with something missing. i loved the 3 singles and i still listen to them a lot but they aren’t necessarily new or groundbreaking sound wise. i feel like i’ll give her a last chance with this album (and probably the one after cause i’m a weak bitch) but if this ends up as another "let’s strip it back to pretend it’s deeper than it is" album that’ll feel like it’s missing that certain…magic, fullness, replay value, excitement whatever you wanna call it then….truly idk…but i honestly don’t see myself stanning same sounding piano ballads for forever let’s just say that (or maybe i’ll do but i’ll be pretty pissed about it and complain a lot).
