I hope Migos stays as far away from Lana as possible

And it's not a pre-pre-release thread without some fake Vinyl Variants to look at while we're hungry for more Lana. Here are some vinyl variants i just tried to make for (possible) LDR9 because i'm bored. Pick yours gurlies

I always wanted Lana to gracefully follow Yoko Ono‘s majestic footsteps

I don't want Lana's Solar Power album because that'll mean that album will just be used for grocery store music. Solar Power is weak, generic, and boring, let's not hope that's what we get from Lana (as if she could even do that... but let's manifest jazzy, psychedelia in the new album)

Me drunk at Christmas dinner when Lana announces DNC.mp3 is available for download on all streaming platforms

This reminds me of that one scene from MEN.COM, where a teacher puts butt plug in his ass and one of his students decides to set it on the highest level... So anyways, ya'll excited for christmas?

after all, i want her to follow what she said on livestream in the bb release, something very california (maybe seventies rock) with this aesthetic.

If she writes about the end of the world again I hope she does it in an apocalyptic and biblical way like some of you just said. I don't want any war and nuclear references Miss Lana keep it abstract

It'd be so cool to see Lana channel the idea/concept of the Book of Revelation since she is one religious bitch & she does not fuck around when it comes to religious references / influences in her catalogue. Maybe some songs reference the imagery and/or story of the "Whore of Babylon" / "Mother of Harlots" and The "Beast" to the idea of fragile feminity & her now & then witchy persona would be great for a fuck-you / put-this-pepsicola-pussy-on-all-of-your-faces sort of record if its the direction that LDR9 might aim to.

Britney has posted to Instagram and announced she has a new song in the works! Ready for whatever she has planned for us! Honestly expected her to understandably retire or take a long break but I'm super stoked to hear new AUTHENTIC Britney Spears music. She is coming to dominate as always

While I love her raw vocals, I think using autotune as a stylistic choice can be really cool I know it’s controversial, but I LOVED Tulsa Jesus Freak’s autotune—a lot of Jack’s work utilized a similar effect with the instruments (like the electronic bit in Venice Bitch), and it was neat seeing him use Lana’s voice for it instead!

She won't release the demos She said the same in past eras and no demos were released.

Definitely. I know most of her fans are still primarily into Cry Baby, but I'm a little over it at this point, and I'm really enjoying her new, more empowered style. I really wish we could've seen a video for "Test Me", it probably would've been the best video she's made so far. Also, as far as the costumes for "The Bakery" go, I'm actually more into the first look with the hair bows and ruffle pants. The makeup is also super cute. Hoping we see more styles like this in the movie(and the finger-wave mullet).

Paying tribute to Sucker today power pop/pop punk/ New wave perfection Well I think these two songs captured the vibe she was aiming for before it was ruined by Boom Claps success.

It would be pretty interesting, honestly—though I’ll admit it’s definitely one of the not-so-easily-discernible pieces…then again, Lana loves obscure references that only she understands. While the “end of the world” interpretation of the text is disputed, I wouldn’t be too shocked if she went this route. Lately, she seems to love peppering in little apocalyptic omens amid religious allusions, so who knows! It’s tough to imagine her going fully conceptual for a record in that manner, but I wouldn’t be too surprised if she ever decided to integrate themes of it in her music!

I wouldn't mind having Jack back for a few songs. Norman is one of my favorites, and Chemtrails is actually good too! Yeah, some of their songs together ain't it, but let's be honest... y'all complained about Emile and Rick too! Y'all trashed some of the Born to Die and Lust for Life songs, like with every producer Lana has ever worked with

Tbh I don't want LDR9 to be a full produced Jack album But I wouldn't mind him on a few songs or as a co-producer for a couple of songs. But in the end I'm trying to go open minded into LDR9 no matter who produced it.

I think we experience more of the genuine Lana on BB, the album, than on any other, with COCC being a close second. I believe it's this genuine Lana we'll continue to see on albums of original work, until she either feels she's exhausted it or until she feels like stepping into personas and roles again.

She better serve that "one for the money-waoh waohhhh, two for the show - aow aow ohhhhhhhh ai-I LOVE YOU HONEY FOR THE VERY LAST TIME! I'M FINE! AND I'M READY TO GO..." energy again. It's Born to Die 10th birthday. That's the least she can do to celebrate her debut era in LDR9.

She's probably going to release her "favorite" song first and it's going to be a piano ballad so people will lose their minds. Then she’s releasing the song BOZ teased, an upbeat track with an amazing MV featuring the DNC jacked You heard (read) it here first

yes!! i think she really likes autotune as she's used it several times throughout her discography but it tends to be to ironic effect, which makes me love it even more
