Ngl, when I first heard those rice crispy drums on wfwf, I got sooooo scared because I thought my speakers got messed up. I got used to it now and I love the song. Omg, I just thought of something. Y’all know that rock candy? When you put it in your mouth it starts to pop? Maybe that was the inspiration for wfwf and also the original name of the album.

I always thought WW sounded like an opener and BB as the closer - TB somewhere in between. The album starting off with, “here’s the deal” would be so powerful; like she’s setting the record straight for anyone listening, and she’s finally telling the story that she’s wanted to for so long.

Idk y’all the crunchy beats sound so good to me.. I think it’s definitely on purpose and I don’t even think it’s a quality issue with listening equipment. A lot of NFR/COCC sound watered down/weak unless you have it on full blast on HQ headphones but WFWF sounds good no matter what imo

if you're really bothered by a once-a-day tracklist post that's really your problem, just skip over them, they aren't hurting anybody by posting them

i like the "crunchy" production at the end of wfwf, it fits the raw & personal vibe of the track, also the synths right before the percussion when lana's singing "so i, turn, but i learn" is a career highlight mike dean is a self-proclaimed "synth g.o.a.t" and he might be correct

Kinda unrelated but Dealer already sounds like one of her most interesting songs in a long time & we haven't even heard it if it's not on the album I'm going to cry, smash all banisters in my house & fly to L.A and yell at Miss Lana for not releasing it. Always wanted a screamer & ugh it's the song I'm constantly most excited for since September 2020. to chime in on WW: it's excellent, i just don't care for the tone of the piano in the recording– even if it's a real piano, it sounds like a shitty keyboard pre-set to "piano," when it could sound much richer. the song itself is killer and tbh i love the static-y beat drop at the end.
