feel free to delete this thread if it already exists (because i always have some troubles with searching a specific thread so i gave up in doing that) i am here to ask some songs suggestions from the 50/60s, songs like: • The End Of The World -Skeeter Davis • Where The Boys Are - Connie Francis • Wishin’ and Hopin’ - Dusty Springfield • Que Sera, Sera - Doris Day • We’ll Meet Again - Vera Lynn • You Don’t Own Me - Lesley Gore • It’s My Party - Lesley Gore • The Good Life - Tony Bennet • Dance Me To The End of Love - Leonard Cohen in short… songs that have an American Horror Story sound kind of way(like season 1, 2, 3 & 4) thanks to everyone who’ll reply to this thread! x

She crazy. Everything she's said is rubbish. Particularly tired of that nepotism bullishit. Lana's dad was a copywriter at Grey Group. Maybe she should focus on releasing a new album since the last one (Broke with Expensive Taste, was it?) came out a decade ago. Idiot. As for Lasso, clearly there are delays and let's not move for nothing. But I'm going to think that this big gap is a good thing, because it means Lana is not winging it. It took ages for NFR to come together, maybe it's the same story with Lasso.

info we have on the next project so far I think • 1 track is Punish: • 1 track is Amber Waves: • some tracks are instrumental (according to her Tumblr) • project is named Perverts and seems to have a tagline of "its happening to everybody" • not part of Ethel cain lore • longer than PD • at least 8 tracks (potentially 12) • might have her song houseofpsychoticwomn on it (its been taken down everywhere)

Ikr. Thank you. Not sure if I could use actual actors' names for legal reasons either. Think I'd have to ask each and every one's agent individually, or use similar names. Like Dom Cruise or Annie Adams. Which makes it sound like a comedy and not exactly what I'd be going for. Dicaprio's preference for young girls is just brat behavior indeed. I'm glad you like him as an actor tho. He's truly one of the greats.

While he's one of my favorite actors, I have never really liked him as a person. Like it's great that he raises awareness of ecosystem and the life of wildlife + endangered species but I find him hypocritical in a way that while he talks about climate change, he flies in his million dollar private jets and sails in his luxury yachts. Also him dating and dumping supermodels until they turn 25 is weird af as well. This shit is amazing, I'd pay money to see it. It's giving me American Horror Story x Hunger Games x Lost

This year and last year were kinda revelatory about celebrities being not exactly the godly figures we took thought they were. There's a lot of backlash about a lot of people, and the ethics of celebrity culture at large is under scrutiny, which I believe is a good thing. For example, hosting the Met Gala amidst war, famine, etc. Some are coming across really well like The Weeknd with his massive donations and no ties to P. Diddy. Just cracking on with his new album and being the cool guy he is. Billie Eilish too with great music output and her ethical record pressing. But many are coming across as completely oblivious if not complicit as to what's happening in the world, whether it's Palestine, the environment, rape culture, and so on. Even musically, look at the backlash Katy Perry got for her misjudged cheap feminism abortion of a song. The judgement is severe. I feel bad that Dicaprio is dragged into some of this since he's been the Greta Thunberg of the Hollywood industry and one of the rare people with actual balls and a voice. But yeah, people have rarely been more aware and talking this much about celebrities, and who's the good guy and the bad guy. I guess we can thank the social media for all of that? During the 80s and 90s, all people could do was shout at their TV if they were annoyed by someone, and noone would hear that. Now we're streaming wars, colonialism, lies, political hypocrisy, and so much more in real time. So, yeah, people can't get away with the same shit that they used to. I think that's a good thing. It's also a bad in the sense of "fuck, we're so powerless" about a lot of these issues.
