Before COVID hit, I was scheduled to temporarily move in for a few months with a friend in LA in April.. then of course COVID became a thing and that plan was thrown out the window. G-d, I really do hate LA, but I wish I was there right now skkkk. Super envious of everyone who gets to go, and if anyone from LanaBoards ends up going, I can't wait to hear about the experience! this is a really cute interview tbh but i am also tired

this honestly really bothers me, they get the opportunity to meet lana del rey and have her signature in their book, but they just do it all for profit. i just think it's unfair, there's so many other fans who aren't able to attend these events, and they certainly won't be able to afford a book being sold for over 1k. but of course, it is their right to sell the book and that's their decision.

the point is that there is no way a book signing and meeting fans could be considered an essential task. The reason why trader joes and targets are crowded is because they're supermarkets that people buy essentials from. promoting your poetry book last minute and with basically no preparation at all that it had to be shut down by the health department in less than an hour (probably because an employee complained) is completely different from this. they can do whatever they want but we can call them stupid and inconsiderate tbh i also don't agree with restaurants being open but in LA at least you can't even eat inside the actual buildings, just outside or in a patio. She's hosting a crowded event in a closed space, there's really no excuse for this tbh.

Came back to say Lana is stupid for wearing a glitter mesh mask to make it look like she cares when she doesn’t I still believe she wasn’t wearing a mask underneath in that fan photo from before, and it feels like this is further proof Chuck is stupid for saying that Lana tested negative; it doesn’t matter at all, she can get infected at any second at that event (and I would add that she’s helping spreading the virus if she wasn’t negative) Ben is just as clueless as we are when it comes to the album. “Soon” in August and “soon” yesterday. I was going to say earlier today that he probably tells us soon to keep up calm but I was too lazy to type it here. So I do it now instead. Whenever we hear “soon” in the future, I will take it as “I dunno??”. We’ve heard it far too many times and, honestly, it’s frustrating to hope for something “soon” when it’s months away. Ed was probably right when he said the album wasn’t done; Lana still hasn’t decided on the final track list. I’m massively disappointed in Lana... again. For, what, the 5th time this year? More? Sometimes I wonder why I support her... it would certainly be easier not to if her music wasn’t that good. I hope she adds Dealer now that she’s heard fans ask about it. I don’t want another Yosemite, please. I’m disappointed And lowkey mad peace out

There's no point even highlighting what a disastrous idea an in-person book signing is in the middle of a pandemic because there absolutely are stans who would happily get rona (and potentially give it to others) just to get a signed book. As an Australian whose country has largely kept rona under control by implementing fairly tough restrictions, I'm smh Will withhold judgement 'til she announces how it'll actually be organised, though.

oh c'mon the music video was good!!! the visuals and aesthetic matched with the song and the album overall. they could've went more and harder but it looked cute and fun and i enjoyed it. Dua has done so good this year i can't believe people are actually complaining.

Patti Smith literally signs hundreds of her poetry books inside bookstores when it's closed at night. This way there are no customers in the store as she's signing. The next day the book stores announces the sign books and puts them on sale. That's how it done. This keeps everyone safe while getting their signed copy from Patti. Patti then reads and answers questions on Instagram from fans like she would do at a book signing. How hard is that for Lana to do?
