We can be frustrated and disappointed about the fake dates and lack of information and you can even express that to Lana and her management if you feel the need to, but throwing insults is just childish and reflects poorly on all of us. It's certainly not going to encourage them to treat the fans with more respect.

I think Wildflower Wildfire is the perfect opening with the defiant piano - it is simple but striking. The opening lines to the whole album being “here’s the deal - ‘cause I know you wanna talk about it” is perfect because it sets the tone for her telling her own story.

i don't hope the new album leaks, i hope what won't be on the album leaks. whether that's the jack tracks that are scrapped, dealer if it's scrapped, or rock candy sweet if it's now been scrapped. like i'll happily wait for the final album if someone can just like.... give us those that won't for sure be on the album

I’d love if Lana did an album where she shows the whole process from beginning to end, vlogs of her in the studio every week, talking about the lyrics she’s coming up with, the thought process. It would be so fascinating and engaging. I think it would create more hype than all this secrecy like it’s an undercover operation. Music should be more open from time to time. How something is made is as interesting as the final product.

Everyone has a right to feel how they feel, just don’t be so rude to someone who you literally don’t even know. There are ways to express frustration and disappointment to a person without belittling them - it doesn’t make you look any better, just worse.

Every album since LFL has been delayed, (despite still releasing almost an album per year), with consistent lack of clear communication and projects falling through since the Honeymoon era (arguably UV - remember there was a PWIC video?). To quote Dark But Just A Game: “I’m not gonna change, I’ll stay the same”. There’s nothing to figure out here people. Until there’s a pre-order, nothing is real. The album will come when it comes - maybe this year, and probably not next week. Save your energy, enjoy COTCC and a mini EP’s worth of new songs that together are but a few months old! Pre-release Lana gonna Pre-release Lana, and we will stan when it’s released. Simple! (i will say though, I would like the recent tracks to be left off if it’s being released later rather than sooner…)

well, no surprise here, but still a lot of disappointment i love lana to death and she doesn't owe us a new album or anything, but she at least owes it to herself to respect her own art - if she'd have let chemtrails breathe and not announced fake dates so soon for an album that she's clearly very confused about, then none of us would be in this mess. chemtrails would've been enjoyed and ruminated on a lot more, we wouldn't get the impression that she doesn't care about it as a record and we also wouldn't get the impression that she enjoys torturing us with fake dates while im not surprised and im not gonna unstan or whatever, i do agree with everyone saying this level of unprofessionalism..... far too much. its not a good look and doesn't feel nice as a fan either. but on the plus side - so happy to hear about the birth of baby chuck!!! <3
