I don't think too much about this being a "posthumous" release because it's being worked by people really close to SOPHIE and clearly aware of SOPHIE's wishes. Like... I don't think the label + brother would just slow down Reason Why for no goddamn reason nn, unless Kim Petras &/or BC Kingdom requested so they could re-record. We also know many of these songs were played in higher tempo (same case as Sunscreen) so it just makes sense that SOPHIE had the final product a little different from what we heard before.

istg i wish they stopped saying "soon" and give a general estimate like next/this month? this summer? x amount of weeks? i was initially thinking it could be a quavo song is bc hes the one making insta posts. but also, lana isn't known to promote her own music very often so.. i'm starting to think it's either a lana lasso single ft quavo or a lana and quavo song. ben did post that story the other day that said they were a new band but idk if he was just saying that just bc of the tough a collab. there was that other song fly away registered on ASCAP. idk if it's still happening, but maybe they're releasing a couple songs? i know songs aren't always registered under the same name, but it did include lana and quavo but also lenny kravitz, so it has to be either a fly away cover or some sort of sample. unless they just scrapped it

Quavo brings out the best in Lana and Lana brings out the best in him, I get so many dark BTD vibes from Tough, it really could be that he might play a much bigger role on Lasso than we thought, after all he said, that they had several hits

She’s pretty active usually. I always see her liking random reels and commenting on fan posts. I just don’t think she cares about giving too many updates about her career like you said. Like she never posted about the Boston date when tickets went on sale, the new merch, or about the release of SYTH and Blue Skies.

What if the Boston Intro song is just an old unreleased we don't know about that she thought would fit at the start of the show and it's totally unrelated to Lasso It's really different from Henry and Tough but they are different from each other sonically too so who knows... (the last two have country adjacent lyrics tho). But to be fair we don't know what songs are for the album or even what is the album concept anymore

It's toughto determine whose song this is. By what Quavo tweeted it seems like Lana's team reached out and told him the release date. It could also be that he received that info from his team tho. The fact that Lana brought him as a guest at Fenway could be a hint that it's Lana's song but it's still a supposition. Moreover, the song doesn't sound country at all so it might be for Quavo's album (excluding that Lana didn't scrap the lasso concept or that she might be releasing it as a single not linked to the album). The only thing with slight country vibes is the music video which is set in a ranch lol. We don't even know if Quavo has the intention to release an album tho.
