Its ok Lana u can keep the lasso for a while, FKA and Gaga are coming to feed the hungry (attempting this as some sort of reverse manifestation but it’s also true)

If you think about it, we might get to hear one of the album's best songs as early as this month.

But truthfully, when I'm in the middle of making a record - especially now, when the world is in the middle of such a tumultuous period - I find I really need to take the space for myself, far away from real life to consider what my contribution to the world should be in these dark times. So each morning I have the luxury of asking myself, "What shall I cook up for the kids today? Something with a little spice? Something with a little bitterness but is ultimately sweet? Or shall I take the day off and turn down the fire, and just take a moment to send my love to them over the ether?" life imitates art

If the Fenway song is on Lasso... who produced it? Like I can't see Jack, Luke or Drew doing that It doesn't even sound like Zach so it has to be one of her old producers but unless it's an old song (like HIAB, Yosemite) is weird that she went back to Rick for one track only since they used to write whole albums together. Unless there's multiple Rick songs It sounds like Tim Larcombe but I really doubt he's back... even though it would be a dream come true

In my opinion covers and interludes are fillers, they like take a place that could've been an original outtake's place. Like covers should stay in the cover albums or standalone and interludes in the videos.

I adore how she’s so vague even when she’s trying to clarify something lmfao

On the topic of Next Level Charli…. She should really be opening her sets with that. As much as we like to nitpick that album , witnessing NLC live was literally like being baptized. All of those songs went so hard live. But NLC is like THE pinnacle Charli song

She's taking this thing very seriously, I don't think she commented so much about gossips since when?

Hmm... I just saw that she once again commented about her relationship with Jeremy, this time under Billboard's Instagram post. So maybe it's a message that she's tired of all this media speculation..

That performance almost made me tear up seeing it for the first time. I just know this next album is going to be so artistically decadent.

At least we have a couple of quavo singles to hold us off until the album. Whatever she’s cooking up to say that it’s American gothic is going to be legendary. it reminds me of future jazz like she used that term perfectly for me anyways, I’m waiting impatiently

I was listening to the show's soundtrack on vinyl last night and I was thinking how interesting it would be for her to make a Julee Cruise style album- she has the voice for it too. It would be soooo dreamy, I can't even imagine. How To Disappear always reminds me of TP- if only she had more songs like that

I need Twin Peaks references or soundscape on Lasso so much oh my gawd. At least onee last year Lana talked about David Lynch and the red curtains

Tim Larcombe supremacy, I indeed need him back for Lasso tbh. His production sounds always so lush

It might not even been posted by Lana herself. I think one of her dancers actually posted it and it’s showing on her profile bc she allowed them to tag her.

Read somewhere that LG7 is coming in Q1 of 2025. Watch Lana postpone Lasso to 2026 because she wants everyone to have their moment. She’s just that sweet. Also Now that Ariana, Billie, Taylor, Charlie, Sabrina, Beyoncé have had their albums released and eras over can she please go back to working on Lasso album rollout without having to think twice about anything? 😭😭

I wish we had gotten the “real” Sucker and not what’s basically a way to neatly package her various hits of 2014-2015. A funny, light hearted take on Brit rock would have been so cool

What I need from Lasso next year: - Jimmy Gnecco as an interlude - Dolly Parton, Nikki Lane, and Holly Macve as the sole features on this album (not no man jk) - Velvet Crowbar needs to be on this album idc - An ambience/soundscape on songs, I need to feel immersed in this album - Lana's old singing style (dark and heavy vocals and different funky cadences) - Pawn Shop Blues, Fine China, My Momma ON THIS ALBUM PLEASE - This album better be over 12 tracks; I don't want another Chemtrails. At least 13 tracks, aiming for 15 tracks - Linda Ronstadt cover on this album, she should do 'Long Long Time' or 'Blue Bayou' - Like Beyoncé's album, even if the sound isn't country, I need the lyrics to evoke country themes - She should sample other songs from her discography like she did some songs on Ocean Blvd - VOCALS PLEASE, love Lana to literal death, but lately the vocals on her songs aren't hitting as they use to. So, I need some songs on this album to show her haters she can really sing - Hey Blue Baby, PGICM, IMBSFBH, Stand By Your Man needs to be on this album, the ones she showcased in 2018 and 2022 - Dark americana country, with southern gothic elements, but I would really appreciate different experimental sounds on this album (ex. country trap/hip-hop) - Don't expect the setlist to change after this album drops but she needs to put many songs from this album on the setlist, as well as more Blue Banisters and Chemtrails songs because those give the vibe for Lasso - I NEED THIS ERA TO REMIND ME OF HER PAST!! Lately, ever since NFR!, Lana's era for her last three albums haven't been giving anything really. Ocean Blvd had fantastic photoshoots, and her tour has been really good. But I need more than that. Promote the hell out of this album until it becomes annoying. Do a proper album lineup (announcement - lead single - album announcement - second single - album teaser - album trailer - third single - album drop). Also, the music videos and photoshoots need to evoke COUNTRY COUNTRY COUNTRYY! Need horses, beers, haystacks, cowboy boots, farms, barns, wildlife, everything of such in this era. I want to be fully immersed in the country experience. And then after the album drops, interviews too. I know Lana doesn't do interviews anymore like that, but one or two is perfectly fine. I feel like the album won't do well if she doesn't promote her album. I know country is a popular genre, especially nowadays, but that doesn't mean it won't flop. Lana's fan isn't super big on country, as I've been seeing all over X and other platforms. So, she needs to promote it well to intrigue her fans, and those outside her fanbase. If Lana does this right, with a correct album lineup and features, I can see this being NFR! era, or at LEAST, Lust For Life era like. Where Lana was active and people like the album for the most part. She needs to have the right features on this album if any. Bring old country artists that everyone knows or love and introduce new country artists to the game. Or even non-country artists too! We saw that with Quavo, how Quavo fans boosted Lana's popularity more, and they began listening to other projects/singles by her. I love Lana Del Rey, and her music and hopefully she does this properly. If she does, I just know this album will be album of the year during of 2025 at the Grammy's. And if not, I'm sure in due time the album will have over 1.2 million streams. All love and Lana won't see this probably or even care but yeah, I'm just bored LOL xo

A lot of folk songs that came here from the British Isles and then blossomed in Appalachia are about rape, murder, ghosts, fairies, tribal war and slaughter, treachery, betrayal, etc., and have musically shifted into 'Americana' and early country music since the 17th century. The House of the Rising Sun is an excellent example of that and the Animals did it justice. It sounds as if you would know that Robert Johnson claimed to have sold his soul to the Devil at the crossroads. You're absolutely right about the mix of genres that bleed into what we're now calling Southern Gothic, and of course the South also has the loss in the Civil War and the destruction of their previous way of life in their past, with an estimated 260,000 Southern soldiers dead. If you've ever seen the Ken Burns documentary about the Civil War, then you've seen stills of dozens or hundreds of amputated legs in one pile and a nearly equal pile of severed arms in another. And another 360,000 soldiers were killed in the North. Then Sherman marched to the sea and burned everything in his path, including Atlanta. Consider all the slaves who died of torture or neglect or both, and add New Orleans Voodoo and Southern Hoodoo to the mix, as well as Christianity and gospel music. Earlier, there were pirates and privateers in the area when Florida was part of the Spanish Main. So it's easy to see why the American South feels haunted--all those crumbling old graveyards along the coast and the Smoky Mountains themselves--and I hope Lana legitimately taps into its rich atmosphere and history. There's no other part of America like it. But knowing Lana, I'm not holding my breath, especially after the apparent shift she's made about the project. As I said yesterday, it could be that half or more of the original concept has been chucked out the window.
