Someone declared that the first new moon of every year is now a queer holiday in which we celebrate SOPHIE’s life, and i could not agree more. It helped me feel a little contentment. She deserves a whole planetary system/galaxy/constellation named after her.

I'm at a straight friend right now and I told him about SOPHIE and showed him some stuff of hers and now Charli posts and I showed him and I got emotional. My heart and thoughts go out to Charli and the whole crew. And Evita and her friends. I know some of them because they also live in Berlin and they are all broken. And I am too. I admire these artists so much and SOPHIEs loss will be felt for eternity.

she’s so well spoken & I fully understand what she means regarding the little moments feeling incredibly substantial... keep your loved ones close everyone, and remind your friends & family how much you love them. we never know when our time is up... I love this forum so much and I’m forever grateful for all the laughter I’ve shared with you all, and thankful I have like-minded souls to grieve with during this horrible tragedy. ♥️

really really hope she takes care of herself, it's hard as a fan but to be one of sophie's close friends and collaborators must be unimaginably difficult right now

my heart seriously breaks for Charli, I teared up reading her post. this whole situation is so fucked up, I still can't even fathom that Sophie is actually gone... we lost someone so, so special & it just isn't fair. we need to be here for Charli - give her space, give her time! I better not see ANYONE asking for new music or leaks anytime soon. this is a painful time for mourning not leaked music. let's just celebrate Sophie & remember her as the revolutionary angel she truly is. She is still soaring in the afterlife.

SOPHIE is not dead. She's immortal now. Only few people get to be immortal in this cruel industry where many people with talent just come and go, but she just changed the fucking paradigm and ended up (in just a decade!!!) being a legendary producer and musician in the same vein of Kate Bush and Björk. One thing is true, she was way too good for this world and the ones who enjoyed her art and got to know her are blessed forever. This comes from someone with utter respect for her, not even a fan. I'm here for you all angels. And I wish so much love and soon reconciliation to Charli.

i still cant get over what happened, i mean, probably many people feel like this too but i am truly fucking sad, in a way that ive never been for so long i had been listening to her songs 24/7 since last week and when this happened it just left me speechless. its like there is a feeling that nothing will ever be right again dont wanna make anyone saddder but i really just needed to vent im sure that wherever she is now, shes in peace

Wow. And I even understand exactly what Charli’s talking about when she said her post doesnt encapsulate all that she feels. I just knew this was hard to even write, and I feel like she just wanted to quickly write it and get it out the way cuz it’s too painful to FULLY reminisce about the memories she had and the things she felt for her. Im sure with the kind of person Sophie was, that she knows Charli meant a lot to her. I don’t think she needs to worry about not getting to tell her that. Oh my god don’t make me cryyyyyyyyyy

I cried off and on since the night she died. I wasn’t the biggest fan but I was still a fan and found beauty in her talent. An ethereal being she was. There will never be another girl like her in this industry.

Such a beautiful thing to know that not only was she a talented person but a kind and sweet soul inside and out. She will never be forgotten and I hope Charli uses some of Sophie’s vision to pay homage to her and this genre that she created. Sophie’s soul will forever be ingrained in this community.

We cannot let this topic die. Her work, music and existence must forever be celebrated. I have refreshed this forum at least once a day for at least the past two years. It's naturally become a habit of connecting with other fans and listeners of Sophie in a world where she was criminally underrated. It is 2021, victim blaming is the most backwards thing someone could do. I absolute hate this culture of "we need solid evidence" or that BS. ERW isn't asking you to judge the validity of what she's saying, because she's speaking of her grief and trauma--and neither of those things need to be validated externally. No one is asking for MM to be thrown in jail without a trial--that will come in due time, if need be--what is required right now is to support someone who has been scarred. This shouldn't even really be about Marilyn Manson; this is about ERW and making sure she feels supported and heard. That is the only right way to move forward, and any discussion centered around MM ("did he do it"/"is he bad person"/etc.) is useless noise that is distracting from the only person in this situation who matters, the victim.

Annie Mac played it's okay to cry on BBCR1 today and I think she described SOPHIE music how I felt about it too, she said it was very 3D and like a sculpture. I truly think SOPHIE brought so much texture to everything she made, and discovering her music in a time most pop/music I had previously heard felt bland ,the sounds she used were always so captivating and I think that's what solidifies her as a visionary for me. She gave music such a new dimension.
