I think we need to accept the fact that there's going to be a lot of silence from her around this album. I really think this is her revenge. Not so much against the fans, but her conflict with the media is important and if we have to deal with a lack of info as a result I'm all here for it. Her words have been twisted for her entire career, so I respect her for releasing really powerful and personal music and now refusing to say anything about it. If she can't speak without being attacked for everything she says, then let her silence make the statement.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think this was exactly the way she wanted us to feel regarding this release. Maybe it’s her way of getting back at all the crazy stans who bug her and everyone associated with her online.

Ugh, LFL era was a little bit messy, but it was so well-planned with 3 music videos, 10 magazines, festivals, livestreams and radio interviews... Now it's just crickets.

I miss when we were excited during cocc pre release checking her website code creating multiple theories thinking she was gonna serve GLAMOUR on the cover and overall aesthetic of the album countdowns everyday good times

so just to sum up, she has a pop album that was basically done, it was in the process of mixing at the time of her death. this is really interesting! after it seemed like transnation was scrapped, i thought SOPHIE would move onto an edm album. we know she had tracks like do you wanna be alive and elegance that revolved around that sound. however, what ever gets released is up to her family and rightfully so. i guess we’ll see

what lorde is about to do is called a comeback, ladies... kpop acts release new ep's every 6 months and call it a comeback lol. it's really not that serious. let's enjoy the music

if the album is really medieval themed, we can expect some whack ass titles like Street Fair, Forge, Pumpkin Cake and references to the Tarot of Marseille like Two of Swords, The Tower etc. also references to alchemy and solve et coagula because why not

sweetie her real fan base is going no where. we will wait patiently and let her make her art and in the meantime enjoy the album and three songs she JUST gave us.

i think it's a good point that she's probably busy with her art, and also her sister having a baby, i don't think it's completely fair to think she's being too quiet or acting like she's just abandoning us, especially since she just released three magnificent songs, which were very personal, she doesn't need to be on social media constantly, tand if she's being quiet, it doesn't mean the album's not coming or that she's not working, she's always writing and recording music and she could be busy with ldr9 and other projects right now

That is absolutely true. We know she can't say anything, or do almost anything, without being attacked. We can't even discuss, honestly and responsibly, some of what she's said without being attacked here. We know verbal communication is not her strongpoint, unless she's really comfortable with herself at the moment, in control, and comfortable with the person interviewing her, like Courtney Love. Symbolic and relative 'radio silence' is best for her at this point, at least for the time being, and until the media finds another 'perfect,' seemingly 'unwoke' punching bag (sadly enough). She doesn't see to be enjoying stardom anymore--"but I'm not a star!"--it's a full-time job for those who really want it above all else, and above their artistry (if any)--and many artists have left "the star-making machinery" behind, including Joni Mitchell, Nico, Laura Nyro, Prince and Axl Rose. In a few years, it could be Tyler Joseph, Justin Bieber or Beyonce that wants to live privately or reclusively. Stardom means having to endlessly live up to some sort of public ideal and having 0 privacy--among others unpleasant issues, like stalkers and break-ins.

as much as I love "Hey Blue Baby' and "I Must Be Stupid For Being Happy" - I don't think they'd fit in with the context of the album (judging from the songs we have) pretty sure she's gonna go for some introspective songs like in Honeymoon though on a grander level. She could use those songs for her collab album with Nikki Lane, "I Must Be Stupid For Being Happy" is so good lyrically. Anyways let's hope for the tracklist and pre order soon!

it's so quiet i forgot what i was gonna say. i'm thinking maybe chemtrails was just that transitory breath of fresh air that Lana needed and did to preserve herself, bc rn, the material's been heavily saturated w intent, kinda seeming like it's cocc's antithesis which is great. i'm wondering when the video'll be shared with us, and more importantly the tracklist. was also staring at my chemtrails vinyl thru the sun, n thinking about how it was like a spring flower in the earlier parts of this year. it'll most likely be released in july, but what does that mean for the cover etc. i think she's the only artist that i readily want to hear n think about her art in a journey type of way. it's nice to discover and go thru bc there's just so much substance n richness in it. ah i wanna know more. it'd be interesting if she followed suit w the grammy's to a song, she was brought in bc of bad intentions, and seeing how she's laid a lot bare from her perspective, it definitely fits the current theme that she's been sharing. they basically called her outdated. but im a bit hesitant bc i feel like they don't really deserve her acknowledgment. could go either way really. since it's pretty quiet. some ideas for merch, diff from the ideas ive had before, a lighter hairpins , floral more visors scented bookmarks letter openers journals/ pens another hoodie handkerchiefs/ scarves more pins decal stickers car keychains POSTERS. the chemtrails single cover was too good to not be used. cigarette case a full circle moment locket where u can put photos in all w her logo on it, or at least initials. i'm really hoping she continues the classic looking album covers. personally love chemtrails' original cover for what it is, so hope the album cover has something to do w the home. a gold variant. a maroon variant. maybe a violet to blue to green then grey marble variant I think aside from other personal vinyl albums, she's probably the only artist that gets me anticipating on what work's gonna be, and gets me looking forward to see how it ages and solidifies. we're so fortunate to be in the same time as her a vinyl box set. another song trifecta of a film. release of videos, and some kind of home studio performance bc i really miss listening to her singing live.

I think she’s absent bc she’s busy helping Chuck (probably an emotional time for her), working on the album, and also she said she was going to disappear to work on another poetry book. She didn’t disappear when she said she was going to, but maybe she’s working on it now? I think her poetry is so so personal and the music lately has been extremely personal so maybe she is taking things from her poetry and elaborating then into music?

She spoiled us too much with her weekly posts. Maybe she's working on the album or helping her sister get ready for the baby

In all seriousness, Lana can take as much time as she wants. She has already released 6 fantastic albums and Lust for Life and is soon about to release her 8th in less than 10 years. I have nothing but respect for her and she is one of my favorite artists so apologies if my past posts came of as disrespectful.

I have a feeling she's gonna be silent for the rest of the month. We're getting nada. No snippets, selfie, interview, anything. At least until after her birthday, which, fun fact - falls on the same day Mercury Retrorgade ends.
