21 likesdear god take lustforlies and give us back miss eclipse but for real he has a damn good point. people on here whined and cried about not having any inside info and the era being dry without them but simultaneously bullied off one of the 2 only reliable insiders all while choosing to keep some dumb fuck who hasn’t been right EVER and just lies about everything they say but y’all are somehow completely fine with that??… a wrong choice was clearly made lmao. this fandom kinda deserves to not get insider info ever again

18 likesI feel like the extended drum outro of Chemtrails title track was low-key intended to be an interlude, it allowed Tulsa Jesus Freak to start playing and it flows nicely,The trio-BBS Is a more intense and apparent version of that which she may have been aiming for in COCC. I really like this whole instrumental interlude+bop track thing she's doing in her albums

13 likesi haven't read the past million pages so someone might've said this already... but i was doing some comparison to the previously unreleased tracks to their released version from the songs i have in my library and this is what i found. Thunder Unreleased: 4:30 Released: 4:19 Nectar of the Gods Unreleased: 4:24 Released: 4:20 Living Legend Unreleased: 4:04 Released: 4:01 Cherry Blossom Unreleased: 3:17 Released: 3:18 to me, this shows that thunder is probably the only reworked one. unless she recorded new vocals for the others. thought it was interesting to point out!

11 likesWhile I understand that it might not feel fresh, I think it’s a bit unfair to undermine the experience of listening to the full body of work ordered in the sequence Lana intended. It is one thing to listen to, say, Thunder as a standalone leaked song but it’s a completely different thing to listen to a quite possibly rearranged Thunder after Dealer and before WW. Like, the thing about this album is how it will flow thematically and even how it might pack a bigger punch to listen to older Lana songs as she integrates them in a record with the specific intention to mirror what she wants to say. Maybe we shouldn’t be so fixated with the idea that we know quite a few songs and just let the whole record wash over us as intended

8 likesI'm glad I haven't listened to Dealer and The Trio yet. And I've only listened to the first 50 seconds of Arcadia. So I think I'm good lol! @Future Jazz You could listen to the leaked stuff early and then treat the rest of the album as an exclusive 11-track edition or something! For example, you could start with Dealer, Thunder, Nectar, Living Legend and Cherry Blossom first, enjoy the HQ/remastered quality and then listen to the new tracks starting with the officially released singles (Text Book, BB, Arcadia, Interlude, WFWF) and completing your listening experience with the 5 brand new tracks (BBS, IYLDWM, Beautiful, VFR, SC). Upon your second listen, you could listen to the album in sequence just as Lana curated it in order to "get" the narrative/story of the album. Or you could treat the leaked stuff as bonus tracks upon your first listen. Anyway, Black Bathing Suit is a head-scratcher at this point. I'm tempted to predict it as the closest thing to a "bop" on the album; there's a reason why The Trio precedes it. And while I'm not really expecting another Cherry/Cinnamon Girl/Tulsa Jesus Freak to be honest, because I highly doubt Erickson and Dawes would co-write something similar to these tracks, I do think that the interlude's trap elements and spaghetti western sounds will somehow be incorporated... Besides, the longest tracks on a Lana album usually end up being highlights (Off to the Races; Cruel World; Blackest Day; Honeymoon; Heroin; Get Free; Venice bitch; Hope is a dangerous thing; White Dress) so this is promising. I'm being cautiously optimistic! Remember when boz said back in late June that she added a bunch of songs including Arcadia at the very last minute? I guess these must have been the Drew Erickson collaborations (tracks 3, 6, 7, 8 and probably 15). And a couple of days later boz told us that she added yet another song! It must have been Black Bathing Suit since no one seems to have it... I'm very very curious about Beautiful. It's a very generic and simple title and has a surprisingly short length. I really don't know what to expect from it. Would @111 like to pour the tea?
