first of all, rob gave us an LDR classic with Sweet Carolina and IDGAF if nobody likes it it's literally one of his greatest gifts + an iconic closer on so many levels second, drew erickson graced us with TITANIC RISING and some iconic bangers on Blue Banisters + FJM's latest album so eat SHIT if you're having ANY doubts. third, jack antonoff is a genius and don't come for me, he may have some shitty choices but they pay off, if anything if we saw how much fun they had making NFR (and as recently evident it seems like they're having a ton of fun with this album) we're in for a fucking doozy. lastly, if rob fucking grant says it's an epic record then it IS an epic record

Heres my hot take on lanas vocal ability. Shes always had the technical ability, just not in a traditional way. Her old vocals i really feel she used her voice to story tell where as now i feel she tries to blend more into the instrumental and create beautiful harmonies. Definitely more experimental in her earlier days but she has really polished her vocals recently, even my friends who arent the biggest fans of her think that. Not many people are able to dip their toes into all genres and sounds and sound good but she does it with ease and i dont think we appreciate that enough!

No really cuz blue banisters is a really deeply emotional album about healing obviously and a lot of yall skip over that cuz its “boring” like i whole heartedly related to almost every song on that album and bawled my eyes out. I recall one of her insta posts right before bb came out where she explained this album was her story and wheres shes been and wheres she at now. If i remember correctly, she had some vague references to aa. The music is deeper then a lot of you think

a lot of new people knew about WCE it seems. I don’t trust insiders who aren’t reputable who change their facts a lot. We already went from ‘single before summer’ to ‘single late spring/early summer’ so that alone raises some questions on my end. but I am always very distrusting of insiders who aren’t BOZ or Eclipse so no offense to any insiders reading this and fuming.
