My prediction- the album will be quite different than COCC or BB, but it probably won’t be the kind of music the majority of us will be hugely excited about…but whatever happens we will certainly eat it up like everything else she puts out.

I was there last night. She sounded incredible. Descending was the 2nd to last song played and just before it she said she was losing her voice so it might be crap - and you could hear her voice sounded quite raspy while talking at this point and she still performed the song. Gosh just give the girl a break no wonder she feels she needs to defend herself all the time, she can't have an off moment without the vultures sweeping in.

People line up for hours so you’re gonna have people waiting for the 7pm show and the 9pm show pretty much in the same queue She’s gonna be burnt out after the first set and then she’s doing it all again with barely an hours break I just can’t see it working, if doors are at 7 and she’s on at 8, say she’s on for an hour that makes it 9 when the next lot are due to come in? You’ve got to shift 2000 people out of a venue and swap them with another 2000 people waiting outside I’d understand if she was doing another show the next day or whatever but wtf is this shambles? Who planned this? Sky Ferreira?

This is so sad to hear but I'm not surprised. She did get robbed when she was in her "prime" years according to Hollywood and now she will probably face a lot of ageism if she manages to even get near her NTMT relevance. Notice how she acknowledged that people called her difficult and unprofessional. There's probably truth in that but we hear successful celebs being assholes everyday. I highly doubt she's that bad that everyone avoids her like the plague. This may sound tone deaf and it's not but her career is an example why people need a plan B when pursuing music or something related to art or starting a business. I applaud celebrities when they have a bachelor's degree. It's extremely hard but we always need a plan B in life.

I still think it was for Lana. He's not the type to get all mysterious about his work cause he usually just tags the artist and Lana is his bigger client... it would make no sense to hype up a random model/unknown singer. He knows Lana fans are lurking It was just before she went to NY (or flew to Italy I don't remember) but she also did the whole W Magazine photoshoot in one day so I don't think timing was an issue. If it was indeed for Lana the fact that they did it all in one day has to mean they had a clear concept and aesthetic going on for the album and it wasn't just a random "hey Neil come to my house and let's see what we get out of it"

not me having a dream about a song from LDR9 and Lana and Barrie were there and he might’ve been featured on it but she DEF wrote it about their relationship and it was so good I was crying in my sleep There was 3 longer-ish verses and I saw the lyrics on paper but of course I don’t remember much… the title started with a P and it was a shorter word like 4-5 letters. And I remember it was some kind of alcohol or drink of sorts… I wish I remembered more

She does not seem well; it is not comfortable to witness." the enigma title is very fitting for her, she's so defensive about her artistry yet still comes across as insecure. it's hard to really determine how honest she's being about all the setbacks and complications because all we really have is her word (and by her own admission the album isn't even done), but i think the fact that the interviewer presents her in such a troubled and frantic way and can still recognize her as being "forthcoming" is worth noting. i recognize the trauma in her behaviour and she strikes me as someone who still possesses a lot of hope and determination despite being a victim of circumstance. i commend her for speaking up about her issues with capitol but it seems like she's kind of shooting herself in the foot here. i would guess she has already tried to be cordial, which has evidently led to little success, but the timing of dragging them so publicly while also trying to get an album out on their label by the end of this year is a very odd tactical move. over the past few months one could have been forgiven for assuming that their working relationship had maybe improved but that's clearly not the case. i guess capitol refusing to fund her is nothing new but it doesn't really bode well considering her recent performance troubles, the delay in the single release, and the radio silence on the music video. both the guardian and the vulture interviews appear to be coming from a position of desperation and it has me feeling pessimistic. i hope she has a strong personal support system around her right now beyond her professional team and can balance taking care of herself and getting the work done
