Earlier today, Lana Del Rey met fans while at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, Brazil. She is departing from Brazil after her performances at MITA Festival in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo the past two weekends.

I mean people here noticed she was off because we are very familiar with her demeanour and stuff I doubt the majority of fans at the show had any idea, though I just think that she finds performing stressful. Remember the account of how she threw a plate at the stage manager (actually if that was the xenophobic stage manager, I fully support) I can imagine that no matter how many times she does those big shows, there would still be nerves and stress. I mean she literally has thousands of people analysing how she looks and what she sounds like. I don't think I'd ever get used to that no matter how many shows I did

After watching the blue banisters live where she said she cried all day or something like that because of her chickens being disturbed by the paparazzi I honestly don’t think she is used to any of these “famous person” situations… Like she’s a REALLY sensitive person. yes I was just thinking about this, but also I can tell something was really off, like more than the normal amount. you’d think she would be like this during her first show a week ago but she seemed perfectly fine last week (aside from the nerves at the beginning of the show). this time around she was 40 minutes late, sounded nervous, was slurring her speech when she’d talk to the audience etc. I’m guessing this has to do with the stalker situation that happened in rio and I really do hope she’s okay, I was literally on the edge of my seat because there were a few moments in the show where I thought she was gonna cry

yep, from what i’ve heard a guy that had already met her a couple of times in rio came up to her and told her he was stalking her the police intervened obviously and when she got to sao paulo, she had to leave the airport through the air force base because tons of fans were waiting for her there. it’s a scary world

I don't know why this is such a returning issue with Lana. You don't know your own lyrics? Fine. When the crowd asked obscure songs from Adele, she just opened up her phone, looked up the lyrics and went ahead with the performance and everyone still appreciated her performance. We are in 2023, it is not that hard. She could even ask one of her backup dancers to assist with that if she required it.

I can confirm all of this. Me and many others went in thinking our dreams would come true but it was a nightmare. Such an amareur shit show of a festival. On top of everything people said in these comments EVERY show had sound issues. I could barely hear anything when artists were talking in between songs

I'm just gonna say it. She's obviously wearing a corset and it seems like it may be tiring her a bit. Her dress looks so tight.. fits beautifully, but not sure if it's best for a concert.. I think if Lana's already stressed over something like the stalker situation or even something seemingly small like a sound issue uncomfortable clothing would just amplify the stress x10 bc it makes u feel like u can't sing (obviously this is speculation but..)

March was such a terrible, terrible month for me, it even ruined my first listening experience with this album. I feel better now and Ocean Blvd has become the highlight of my year. The Grants - Ocean Blvd - Sweet are some of her best ever vocals, lyrics and performance A&W - Candy Necklace - Kintsugi - Fingertips - Paris Texas has to be her darkest run ever, and not only that but A&W and Fingertips are career peaks Grandfather - Let the Light In - Margaret These songs are epic And Peppers and Taco Truck are absolute bops. Taco Truck is one of her best ever songs to smoke to... The lyrics are fantastic through the whole thing, so many iconic lines and interesting stories. Fingertips is definitely my favorite. Also it's incredible how the release of this album kinda officially cemented her as a totally MAIN global artist. Selling out big shows, headlining festivals all over the world, awards, critical acclaim, record-breaking streaming numbers... ugh. I knew 2023 was going to be huge for her. 2024 will be bigger! Thank you Lana.
