Her list of speculated collaborations keeps growing, and (if any are true), I’m wondering what that could mean for LDR9. Are they promotional, for fun, or are we going to see a record welcoming more musical peers like in LFL? (Slightly off-topic but I think her team utilizing TikTok would be a smart move considering how often she trends)

In my opinion the only "upbeat" track we have from Jack is Cinnamon Girl (and maybe TJF). Doin Time was produced by Andrew Watt (who also coproduced FIILY and I bet he's the one that made the song feel more bopp-ish and summer-y). Maybe they really recorded more [redacted] songs but if we get something similar to The Greatest or VB that would do for me . An electric guitar can make every song a bop even if it's in essence a balad. I'm not expecting full on pop production from Lana and Jack in 2022 (But I wouldn’t be against it tho)

She should do at least one surprise release, digitally. I think she could release either a double album of 'Standards/Americana' or release two different projects simultaneously, and neither would hurt her career in the least. Everyone's doing these things now, the ways of the past are gone with all the technological options available. Most of the traditions around physical album and CD releases were totally predicated by the times, the physical production and distribution across the world, etc. If vinyl releases are holding anything up, Lana can easily announce the vinyl will follow within 6 months. Vinyl is largely for Stans and audiophiles anyway in 2022. Go for it, Lana!

It would be nice to finally get a thorough album review that would do justice to our beloved Electra Heart. I kinda feel like everyone misses the whole social commentary, the cultural inspirations, and the Greek mythology references. Everyone seems to focus merely on its impact on teenage girls and Tumblr now (still better than the 2012 omg-she-changed-her-sound-and-it's-atrocious rhethoric), while the amount of thought taken to developing this concept album is insane. This record does already feel like reading a book and I still cannot comprehend why Marina's so reluctant to prove her point; I know she was devastated after commercial failure and critics' flashback, but she should've seen them coming. The Metacritic score is a crime on humanity and proves that patriarchic society we live in was not ready for that and seems not to be to this very day. I have no words for the people who praised Charli XCX's Crash but hated Marina for her sellout persona invented a decade earlier. Hypocrates.
