Earlier today, Lana Del Rey had her portrait sketched in Central Park, New York City. Yesterday, rumour broke loose that Lana was in New York for a photoshoot to cover W Magazine.

The fact that anyone thinks sky looked less than perfection last night should be ashamed. She looked gorgeous and glamorous. She is finally gearing up to come back and she’s doing it right. She obviously doesn’t love being in super social settings but she showed up and rocked that ishhhh. You should all be so lucky. also those who are saying she isn’t big in the modeling world…do you realize how many huge campaigns she has been part of? Maybe in the last few years not as much but she has worked with many of the top designers and labels and been the face of major campaigns. Let’s not with the negativity, she’s an icon and let’s be real…yes I’ve been thru the years of the up’s and downs and heartache that comes with stanning her, but things are definitely different this time and she’s coming. Ok, I’m bored and feel like speculating on the rumored Blueberry Hill Club since it’s the only title not directly associated with other artists: So, there’s a music club in St. Louis called Blueberry Hill. I’m not from St. Louis, but it seems to be known for how frequently Chuck Berry (often called the father of Rock & Roll) performed there. Blueberry Hill Club seems to be rooted in pop culture nostalgia (lots of Beatles, jukeboxes, and other memorabilia). Blueberry Hill (minus the “Club” ) was also a song popularized in the 1950s by Fats Domino. It seems to be a song of finding love and then losing it: “Though we're apart, you're part of me still/ For you were my thrill on Blueberry Hill.” Now I’ll reach even more & speculate that LDR9 is her nostalgia-drenched 1950s rock masterpiece

also honestly i am glad lana is being so quiet about LDR9, it feels like ever since the LFL era she has started talking too early and plans have changed and it just gets disappointing rip LFL may 26th, NFR at “the top of 2019”, COTCC september 2020, BB July 4th. i would rather her not say anything than give false hope, she’s mentioned a surprise album for so long but it’s still never happened so i’m kind of hoping it does with this one

At least there’s still hope for Blueberry Hill Club On the plus side, 1 out of 3 seems very on brand for playing with LFL’s spirit so your insider era isn’t completely over

According to Apple Music both California Headlines and Summer Heat are by an artist that goes by Cmeonrey. It seems sus that Lana would copy not one but two song titles by the same artist so I’m gonna say it’s fake, unfortunately blueberry hill club could still be legit though

Random idea for a LDR9 trailer if insiders are right about this being a transition record + some fan speculation is right about it being called Death Never Came: Imagine the trailer is almost reminiscent of Ride’s music video: a monologue about the progression of her life playing in the background, tons of nostalgic supercuts from past eras, etc. The background instrumental would be a haunting and cinematic medley of BTD-LFL-DNC. You can even hear a few muffled, breathy words from the tracks peppered in occasionally. She ends the monologue with some impactful line, like, “After praying for its embrace for 36 years, I woke up to finally realize…that death never came.” And then there’s this abrupt shift to only the DNC aesthetics with the title track playing fully in the background. The dark, deeply personal emotions that were felt earlier are now met with more lighthearted ones: Lana swimming on a North Cali beach, dancing with friends on the shore, etc. The era has begun. a gay can dream

I think she will continue her music journey like the last 2 albums didn't exist. NFR is her latest "quality album" me thinks. So LDR9 will be perfect and flawless I hope.

i very much believe she will start the whole LDR9 meltdown in July (hopefully June, but we all know June is her burthday month as well as almost everysingle person in her life's burthday month, so sh usually posts 4363738 happy burthday posts this time) But an Interview cover reveal in June is not too bad.

Not for at least 2 months I would guess. Maybe by August? I don’t think Lana would be on the cover unless she has something to promote. Could be promo for BTIG or LDR9. If it’s LDR9 I would guess some sort of announcement (first single?) would be coming this month or early June at the latest? Someone said Jack is going on tour May-August so maybe they’ve banked the album and it’s ready to go for a late summer release? It’s times like this I miss @lustforlife teases (even if they were made up)
