I have a lot of respect for Taylor. Love her or hate her, you cannot deny her presence in the industry. She has incredible talent as a songwriter and seems to be a genius when it comes to marketing her music + creating an overall experience for her listeners. Her very vocal admiration for Lana is refreshing amidst the silence from both their contemporaries, and it’s just amazing to see two very talented women join forces!

actually i can see snow on the beach being a single since taylor looked so happy while announcing it, and i agree that maybe her team is waiting this to start the rollout of ldrx or at least to lana say something about it, anyway we're on that 2019 situation and i love it

It always surprises me at how the fanbases don't overlap more, anyways extremly excited for this I can think of very few people that would be an absolute match made in heaven for a musical collab, and Taylor is definetly on that list

Honestly I think the first minute - like exactly one minute and two seconds - of Genesis is the most beautiful sound ever created by any human (?) being period. And if they do it well, I beg it’s not too pop and mainstream (though Taylor’s music has been more my taste lately! And she’s no doubt talented.) she will earn even more. She should wait until the first hype of midnights, and the car by the arctic monkeys is over, and then start releasing a single, or atleast teasing. Please a trailer this time!!

Not only do I prefer the Blue Banisters version of Thunder, but it's starting to become one of my favorite Lana songs period. I just find it breathtakingly beautiful and I think the instrumentation matches it perfectly. Blue Banisters in general has really started to grow on me this month. It feels so cozy and familiar.

Post album singles are not really a thing anymore in the streaming era (I mean they exist and MVs get released after the album but they are not a big event like they used to be, specially for an albums artist like Taylor) so I'm not worried about having to wait too long for an announcement on Lana's part. Also it's called Snow On The Beach they can't wait until spring to release a MV and I don't think Lana would want to delay her releases even further to fit Taylor's schedule anyway.

I don't expect anything LDRX related before Taylor releases Midnights.

i’m sure it was genuine and her probably being shook at how official Taylor is compared to lana’s album rollouts (let’s not give lana slack, taylor’s goes all out) im not a huge taylor stan but i def loved 1989 album and aesthetic so i’m excited for midnights. and i love the album artwork !!! i’m pumped. i think for some reason taylor’s work feels like all PG, it feels like there isn’t a bone of a curse word. maybe i’m wrong but thats fine just wish she’d scream it out cuz we all have those emotions

not liking taylor's music is one thing but it is not productive to dwell on it. no one is forcing you to listen to this song. lana is not personally victimizing you by doing a song with someone you do not like. i cannot wrap my head around how people are fine with lana collaborating with literal woman abusers yet taylor swift is a step too far for them... just say you hate women & move on.

I wish we could like posts more than once. I can't believe how much modern music fans act like it's 1985, and when a song you hate becomes a hit, you have to either suffer through it or turn off the radio. There is literally nothing easier to ignore today than a hit song. At worst, there will be a twitter trend you have to spent 0.3 seconds scrolling past.
