I think it’s actually gonna be pretty similar to btd based on what we’ve heard lol it seems to have a cross between country, hip hop, and “cinematic” sounds. Mirror is extremely paradise-coded. I think Summertime Sadness alt final is a good representation of what we will get production wise.

If this was cash grab they would’ve done it way sooner and probs would’ve done a volume 1, volume 2, volume 3, etc. considering the amount of unreleased music she has. This was obvs done with care by people that were close to her, finalised by people that were already involved with the music.

Henry is such a beautiful song and is arguably one of the most Lana songs out there in existence. The chord progression is gorgeous, the melody (especially in the chorus) is so LDR, and it thematically fits in the country genere in such a fluid and creative way that makes me like country (typically not really my thing but her spin on it is so digestible and dare I say enjoyable). We need to manifest this on the next record

Hi LilacHeaven. I understand. However, you might agree with me that Snow on the Beach was not the best collaboration they could have done. I think it was a good song but perhaps Lana not using the high-pitched sound and using a slightly middle to lower register would go well. Think, for example, of Lana and Taylor collaborating on a song like My Tears Ricochet, The Lakes or Invisible String (both from Folklore). Do you think that would sound better? I definitely think so. i'm curious to see whether she will be up for any grammys with brat. it has become such a cultural phenomenon in a way that no other album this year really has and her contributions to pop music in general are long overdue to be recognized, add to that the overwhelming critical acclaim and i would be shocked if she wasn't nominated for anything. tortured poets department was kind of a huge flop for taylor even if the numbers did well, she's way too oversaturated at this point even with all her bribery and fraud i can't really see her winning aoty. radical optimism underperformed and i don't even know if they would categorize cowboy carter as pop or not. i think a win for ariana billie or sabrina would be the most likely but imagine charli winning aoty... gag. although i guess having a song on the album about bombing them might put a damper on her chances lol

I don't think too much about this being a "posthumous" release because it's being worked by people really close to SOPHIE and clearly aware of SOPHIE's wishes. Like... I don't think the label + brother would just slow down Reason Why for no goddamn reason nn, unless Kim Petras &/or BC Kingdom requested so they could re-record. We also know many of these songs were played in higher tempo (same case as Sunscreen) so it just makes sense that SOPHIE had the final product a little different from what we heard before.
