44 likesMusic Week is delighted to reveal Lana Del Rey as the cover star of our new monthly print edition. In our huge cover feature, Music Week speaks to the revered artist and songwriter as she prepares to release her brilliant, eagerly-anticipated new album Chemtrails Over The Country Club. Arriving hot on the heels of her critically-acclaimed, No.1 album Norman Fucking Rockwell! in 2019, not to mention 2020’s poetry collection/spoken word LP Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass, we meet an artist on a red hot streak. In a wide-ranging conversation, Lana talks about the making of the record with Jack Antonoff, songwriting, how to deal with fame, plus how she fought to be understood as an artist, not a music industry trend. https://www.musicweek.com/media/read/lana-del-rey-stars-on-the-cover-of-the-new-edition-of-music-week/082809

23 likesWell, it seems this pre release is chaos for everyone. Best of luck mod mother @Elle, I hope it doesn't suck too much figuring this out. It also seems White Dress is not a Spotify new music Friday single and I.....the sigh I let out fogged up the windows in my house. Sighhhh please Lana, Queen of heavenly melodies and high registers, PLEASE give me something!

21 likesYeah, the problem is now how does she post about the album on IG without a bunch of braindead stans commenting like "IT LEAKED MAWMA! OMG!". You can always count on a stan to fuck the vibe up. I'm kind of annoyed at whoever leaked it since it's then a test of willpower for me, and I hardly have that when it comes to Lana, so it's like... fuck off. I didn't listen to any of the leaks today, so I'm proud of that. It's been difficult since every song has been stuck in my head! Going to hold out completely until the 19th now.
