i feel like this forum has been so assumptious and judgemental lately... how is she acting like an "old lady"? by making folk/country music & hanging out with her friend...? and what's wrong about acting like an "old lady"? she's living more simplistically but there's nothing weird about that

i feel like the album doesn't even exist lmfao like her announcing it feels like a fever dream

not yall acting like shes some 90 yo nun when she literally said in the interview from last week that shes getting a good fuck in a bedroom manifesting an explicit song that we deserve

I don't think she acts like an old lady but... I do kinda dislike how she stripped back her sound/image/theatrical persona to appease critics. She's been talking about it since 2014 "they judge me like a picture book" and then in recent interviews about how the way she looked impacted how critics saw her. Idk, I think it's fine for fans to miss the glam Lana from 2012-2016 but then again I'm supportive of whatever she chooses to do. Like BTD was received so negatively to the point that she was contemplating not making music ever again but now it's regarded as one of the best albums of the past decade. And like so many other classics that were critiqued harshly upon release I bet critics will re-review it positively in 10-20 years when it's still charting. Anyways I just think she shouldn't let critics influence her art whatsoever.

Come on, we all went through this before ... June 1st ist not the release date. There won't be a digital-only release. There won't be a suprise release. J*ck will be the only producer on RCS. She will not address the release date (amd the delay) anymore but only post cringy pics of her private friends on her artist insta.

i want anger on this album, even soft anger - like she doesn't need to scream even though i'd love it. but there are certain songs she has that are quietly sadly angry and i need some sort of anger whether hard or soft somewhere in here

I think what a lot of people fail to realize too is that Lana isn't 26 anymore. Video Games will have been released ten years ago this summer. She's not going to be the same way she was back then, and it's unfair to think that she would. It's perfectly natural and expected that her sound, lyrics and personality would change throughout time. I don't see how any aspect of her life recently has been, as put, her "acting like an old lady". She's a woman in her 30s spending time with people in their 30s, which is normal.

because most of what eclipse says, actually happens. and your whole story sounds way off. Rock Sweet Candy is read to be relesead. She can add more songs, she still thinking about it, but i dont think she will. Most of the songs are nfr and some cocc scraps with Jack. So is it ready to be released or not? If she’s adding more songs then it’s not ready to be released. Also super unlikely that COTCC is only 11 tracks (with a cover and 4 year old song) but there are leftover of two albums. She also on the way to finish a duet album with Nikki. They are writing alot of things toghter. that’s not inside info they’ve literally been talking about this for months June 1st its a impossible date. Even her label have listened the album yet and a plan to release didnt not start. So i dont think will happen. It’s impossible for her label to have NOT heard the album if she gave a release date for two months. Ben already said in an interview she had two albums ready. He wouldn’t be that behind the album if he hadn’t heard it. Plus they would never commission a font to be made if they felt the album was far from being done. June 1st seems highly unlikely but that, again, isn’t inside info or completely impossible BTW the cocc era isnt dead YET. Maybe 1 or 2 things yet to come. The era has been dead since the album dropped. Try again.

Well I also feel like she already is finished recording RCS and she is gonna use that one selfie she put out with the cursive words with roses that read Rock Cady Sweet...as the main photo for the single. Kinda like she did with LMLYLW. Lana might just drop a song off RCS on June 1st. And then she'll start prepping for the albums theme & cover aesthetic ....which is gonna be very Valley of the Dolls style just because that would go with the aesthetic of popping pills like its candy.

I'd love if we had a better idea of when COCC was recorded.... I feel like half of it was done by the time NFR came out. Would be helpful to establish how long in between she's had to work on RCS..

what if there's no preorder she just drops the album digitally.... i mean cocc sold really well in physical copies even Target is out of it and there's like 9 stores in my area i wanted a second copy of the vinyl for personal reasons but they're just.... non-existent here soooo i'm glad i got it when i did? and it seems like it can't be ordered on the Target website. so i guess cocc was her latest honeymoon where the album won't be easy to find anymore. so how will that effect this album's rollout? i mean we're 56 days away from "release" and there's not a preorder, yet cocc's preorder was a longer time frame... hmmmmm

Lana needs new scenery. As much as I love her, country isn't her vibe. Maybe it was when she was Lizzy. But she was more playful and new on the scene back then. Now she's acting like an old woman. She's only in her 30s. I just want a Honeymoon type rock album.

I’m expecting no snippets tbh COTCC only had TJF (minus title track teaser in December and the snippet of WD two days before it came out) she doesn’t seem to tease music anymore (not that I’m complaining, going into COTCC with not even album snippets was super relieving and I’m doing it again for RCS)
