39 likesI just know she's gonna come through with this album, she has said time and time again that she doesn't like to do the same shit over and over again. COCC was definitely similar to NFR but they are still very different in sound and style, and now that she is COMPLETELY out of that phase and with a bunch of new writers and producers i'm beyond excited and have no idea what to expect! I'm not worried about the ballad comments because her whole career is a collection of ballads in different forms and styles, all of her music is relatively slow, and none of it sounds the same so this shouldn't be anything to worry about. I'm feeling very optimistic and i also have a feeling this album is going to be long! Possibly 15 tracks or more! I don't think she'd release 3 singles all at once if it was going to be a short record, also the fact that BOZ says this is only the beginning makes me very curious about what's to come. I wonder if it's a double album or something? Perhaps merged with a collection of reworked unreleased songs? Something is definitely different this era and i feel it. She's coming for blood.

39 likesI have a thing to say. Lana's hair is an accurate reflection of her musical direction and aura. BTD was auburn because she emerged in a vivid, intense burst. It was darker for UV and then during the Honeymoon era it took on a distinct reddish lustre which encompassed both the sonic passion and darkness of the preceding albums. And then for LFL there were many collaborations on that album which were really a sonic equivalent of her hair "extensions". Then she cut it all off prior to NFR; the same way she cut Rick off and got Jack. Finally, we have COCC which consisted of a combination of shades and varying degrees of hair health and that album is very experimental. And so now we can accurately predict that, because her hair colour has stabilised as a darker, UV-ish shade, we are getting an album that will be closest sonically to UV.

26 likesSeconding @Hydroponic Weeds, I don’t know if she was fronting about July either. It seems that Gabe Simon is heavily involved with this album. They met in October 2020 in Nashville, so I bet most of the album was laid down with him in late 2020. Mike Dean has probably just been adding that extra oomph to the songs for the last few months. Obviously the album has been mastered, as insiders got their hands on it, just like how they had COTCC in September when it was mastered. I think it’s coming sooner than we think! And if not, then oh well, LOL, we can just enjoy the pre-release a bit longer - not to mention, we did just get a beautiful 11 track album so the fact that we’re even getting 3 new songs on Thursday is a blessing.

25 likesthere's a possibility it's the unreleased song on the album but let's wait for confirmation her hair being a reliable source now I'll take it!

24 likesIsn’t it serendipitous how the Billboard Hot 100 update got delayed so that it falls on the same day that marks 20 days since the BB snippet? Announcement tomorrow

23 likesLooking forward to the day when people no longer expect Lana to change her ways and accept her for who she is. To call her lazy makes no sense to me, the amount of work she has put out in the last decade is truly astounding and it doesn't look like she's slowing down any time soon. If messy and inconsistent promo helps her achieve a healthy balance with her work and her life, then that's all that really matters. She's an absolute legend and will be remembered as one of the all time greats, the chaos is part of the ride at this point and I'm here for every moment of it.
