Unpopular opinion - she doesn’t need another album rushed out this year. I’d rather her work on it for another year and get it just right then rushed out the studio for summer. I think we should remain cautiously optimistic about a new album anytime soon…I think most of you think it’s a certainty and we’ve had no confirmation of that.

I actually don't think putting out another album this year will be much of a big deal for Lana since i can feel she's making music just like we're breathing oxygen everyday, she just loves doing it for the sake of enjoying her life right now so it's not like "hard work" for her. You know what they say: when you enjoy the "job", it's not a "job" anymore. At this point, maybe putting out an album isn't too nervous or stressful for her anymore. I believe she overcame that kind of hardship. And that explains the insanely never-ending amount of unreleased music that this woman has, everytime we think we discover enough of her catalogue (mostly unreleased stuff), it just ends up with us getting another one and then another one, i don't think there are many artists - male or female who has this huge catalogue of discography (if u count the unreleased - she needs to create a whole universe just to store all that i suppose). But anyway, it's just my speculation, it's her life at the end of the day so if she choose to have a long hiatus then who are we to talk about it tho?

I don't think time between albums has any association with the quality between albums. I honestly think she needs to release albums at the pace she's going now, because she gets extremely indecisive the more time she stays with a record. The time between Honeymoon and Lust for Life was one of the longest breaks we've had, and for most people, it was a major downgrade, with superior demos changed around to become more marketable, and more fillers added for fan service. I think there also needs to be some more acceptance that this is the style of music that she feels like making right now.

I honestly wouldn't mind if we have a longer wait in between albums. The fact that we got two albums in one year is honestly still so surreal to me and I'm so incredibly grateful for them. However, it wouldn't be a big deal to me if we got that usual gap in between projects that we usually do. As long as we don't get an NFR pre-release type era, I'm happy Those were the true dark ages (although I never realized how much I'd miss the Instagram selphie video snippets until they were gone)

I find really stupid that neither her or Capitol thought about releasing NTMT B-Side Part 2 just to keep: 1) the money coming 2) her relatively more active 3) her more relevant 4) her fans happy 5) momentum after NTMT Everything seems weird and stupid. Sooooo a few years back, I told you guys that I saw the music video for That's So Us on TV. For the record, Allie personally told me she was still planning to release the video; that obviously didn't happen, but that's why I didn't share the video when I said I would. For context, I recorded the TV with my iPhone with the intention of getting a better recording later, but I didn't know my DVR had a setting to delete recordings after a certain amount of time, so I lost the original HD recording on my TV. This is the best quality I have so don't ask me for better lol. Anyway, I think it's safe to say that the video won't be released officially, so enjoy! She's so productive, I think when she's not touring she can easily produce 1 or 2 albums (or books of poetry) a year where other artists need two or three years. Remember how many unreleased songs exist, and many are probably still unknown.

I’m not too preferential either way when it comes to a hiatus length, but I do hope LDR9 feels like stepping into a completely new body of work. Even though I (initially) missed the more “cinematic” production, NFR’s novelty did an amazing job at really immersing me in the essence of the record. Even if Lana settles into a more stripped, singer-songwriter soundscape, I hope there are some elements in LDR9 that really distinguish it from her past works. With NFR, I feel like the heavy emphasis on the mellotron and almost whistling synths really gave the record a unique, defining sound, and I’m hoping for something similar with LDR9!

I wish we knew which unreleased songs she hates and that she’ll never put on any record so they can be leaked without spoiling any future album (seriously, Living Legend and Cherry Blossom leaking a year before we knew they’d end up on BB is a bit of a shame. At least Thunder got a new production)

I also believe in this. I remember Sky saying on a interview that old man from Capitol Records hated to listen a teenage/young girl's opinion and ideas and they just wanted to give orders and have full control. Probably she have made an enemy there and she don't even know why, who or how.
