So I was looking at what @DragonWhore has said in the past (yes I have no life this weekend) and this is interesting: “I can give you a hint.... A song will be named after a very famous road to the North of San Francisco. Vague, I know, but still not trynna get my ass thrown in a court chair. I'm too pretty for jail.” This is something that can easily be verified (hopefully) Wednesday if we get the tracklist. Also this: we'll be seeing a little bit of everything. Some songs will have craycray beat drops and synth that will make you tingle in the naughty bits. But also we're going to see some creepy vibes that we've been wanting, bringing us into the 60s cult communes of the lost coast of Northern California.. They’ve been relaying the “creepy, foggy coast, cult” vibes since at least April when they posted above comments. I kind of believe them

So I’m not sure if anyone’s posted this yet bc I’m still nearly 200 pages behind (edit: it appears not since this was only 3 hours ago), but Anna Cofone (Lana’s OG hair stylist) reposted Neil’s flower picture on her story. He had originally posted the same picture on his story with the caption “Drop some new work next week?” I did see that some of you here noticed that Neil replied to Anna’s comment on Lana’s recent post, but I feel like the fact that she also reposted this picture means something.. x

Why has it been for the past two days that new info has come while I’m napping skfndk. Both the video of Lana declaring her Dec 7th announcement & all the Neil Krug stuff happened while I was off in dreamland for my 3 hour powernap. What I’m taking from it is that maybe my manifestations work harder when I’m asleep? Maybe I shouldn’t pull an all-day-er on the 7th and just sleep instead? Is that what this means?

I've said it before, I'll say it again. The back picture would've made a more interesting cover than the actual cover. This era feels like a fever dream. I think we're gonna get something good this era, Neil was very involved with the visuals for the BB and they were nice, maybe not on par with Honeymoon or Ultraviolence, but nice nonetheless.

It 👏is 👏 completely 👏normal 👏for 👏artists 👏to 👏include 👏older👏 songs👏 on 👏 their👏records. You guys have this weird purity fetish that makes you discard great material by default because it wasn't written and produced 3 weeks before the release. Artists have always come back to older ideas they had, carried over unused concepts from one album to the nect etc. It's completely normal and does not hurt anyone's artistic integrity to do so. This weird obsession with saying she recycles things and calling songs outtakes is so annoying.

no cuz like i don't remember her being this quiet before an era officially begins. no real visuals (besides W mag), only one snippet, no fake release dates, etc.. motha is learning & it honestly makes the era more exciting since we don't really know what's in store.

Snippets are not real they’ve just taken small edits of her singing and sliced them together to sound like words, then added production over the top and distortion to hide how fake it is.

okay i actually love Yes to Heaven, it’s kind of an ageless song that she can sing forever and it will still resonate with her, and I think that’s why it’s been considered for so many albums. however, i wish that when she puts older songs on albums she would re-record them like she did If You Lie Down with Me and Let Me Love You Like a Woman. I would be quite disappointed if a 2014 demo ended up on a future project, but i would love it if a current version did
