I think my favorite on the remix album is everything is romantic, I love how they changed the lyrics and vibes from summer to autumn

I think what I love about this project is that instead of lazily going back and deleting a verse for every track and getting someone to hop on as a feature, Charli has gone back to each song and written a brand new track with either using the song title / lyric / beat as a prompt to writing about a new experience or perspective based on the prompt. e.g. Sympathy is a Knife going from a song about Charli being unable to deal with her internal dialogue and how she can be so vicious with herself / doubts to revisiting those doubts from her perspective now with the success of brat. While I feel like there are a few hits and misses with the album, it’s hard to deny it was a highly ambitious project and much more exciting than an album of reworks / features. I feel like most of the polarising reviews from fans is a mix of high expectations for what we were getting and I’m seeing a lot of OG angels loving the album vs newer fans (not bagging new fans but just an interesting trend I’ve noticed)

no fr as someone who lives in the midwest, it definitely aligns with the autumn weather and vibe. i see it like summer’s fun and full of bops which correlates with the brat summer vibe but then colder weather and seasonal depression kick in and things get a bit more existential and self reflective. it all just really works for me

I just spent an hour looking through them all and it's masterful how basically all the final pics are actually like a patchwork of multiple photos to make the final pic. There are some fucking amazing photos they did not use. Retouches will be posted! - I've been on a huge Gaga kick lately. This song is so essential to her discography and there is no good cover for it. So I wanted to make a definitive one that looked official. Seems simple but I retouched the original busted ass pic a lot.
