Lana Del Rey has shared that she will be covering Gerry and the Pacemaker's "You'll Never Walk Alone" for an upcoming documentary about the Liverpool Football Club. The song has been long known to be the fan football anthem of the Liverpool F.C. Lana has also been a fan of Liverpool F.C. and has attended their games. In a 2013 interview, she shared, “I was introduced to Liverpool F.C. by my manager, Ben, whose mood is dependent on the Liverpool results. I love watching Luis Suárez play.” In the above picture, you can see the slogan embedded on Lana's scarf.

One of the reasons I can’t wrap my head around trump supporters is that he shows you exactly who he is with every tweet, every executive order, every interview, and every leaked document or audio bit. And even after all of that you still decide that he’s fit for office. You effectively decide to excuse everything he’s done and decide it’s all acceptable, and that means 1) you’re exactly like him or 2) your ignorant decision to vote within party lines speaks to your character and communicates to the rest of us where you stand: -Groping and assaulting women is fine -Separating innocent children from their families held in detainment centers (aka modern day concentration camps) and psychologically fucking these kids up in their developmentally formative years gets a pass -Marginalizing minority groups in the Latino and Black communities (aka “shithole” countries per his words) is acceptable -Pro-White Suprematist attitudes and rhetoric (re: “stand by” during the debates) that incites violence is encouraged -Hindering the democratic process by withholding ballots at mail centers after having previously sought foreign help in US elections is ok as long as you win (let’s not forget encouraging your people bearing guns to run down the Biden bus off the highway and endangering innocent civilian lives) -Science should not dictate the government’s response to a global pandemic (re: “Fire Fauci”chants in recent rallies, discouragement of masks, trump rallies causing at least 30K cases of coronavirus, superspreader event at the White House, etc) -The LGBTQIA+ community is inherently unequal with their straight counterparts, and they don’t deserve the same basic rights to marry, adopt, etc as everyone else. ———- The list is truly too exhaustive to write out, but let’s not forget tax evasion, mocking people with special needs, pushing a Supreme Court nominee 8 days before an election, etc etc. For a complete list see here: https://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/the-complete-listing-so-far-atrocities-1-963 You might say “well that’s not me, that’s not what I believe in, etc etc” but unfortunately for you trump supporters you get lumped into his bandwagon because you don’t have half a brain to vote for true democracy, for humanity, for basic decency. On September 11th, 2021, Lana Del Rey posted to Twitter sharing that she was working on the cover album as she shared a photograph of herself standing outside of the Capitol Records building in Los Angeles California that was taken in August of 2021. On November 7th, 2020, Lana Del Rey shared a clip of her in the studio while working on the covers album. On November 3rd, 2020 Lana Del Rey announced on an instagram livestream that due to vinyl production delays for Chemtrails Over the Country Club, she would be releasing a digital cover album of "American Standards & Classics" on Christmas, December 25th, 2020. She stated that the album will include some Patsy Cline covers and Americana songs with Nikki Lane. Unfortunately, the album was postponed from her announced date.

i think this cover album has a huge potential to be amazing a lot of the american standard songs are from the golden age of jazz- if this is what she’s referring to i think we’re in for something pretty special im only sad about not seeing the album cover and tracklist for god knows how long also, I still think we’ll get the mv soon, i would HOPE everyone including brthr wouldn’t be teasing it if it wasn’t coming out soon but if we learned anything this era it’s trust no one

Sky doesn’t release her music because she never seems to be really comfortable about the work to come up with something cohesive. Masochism was meant to be released AGES ago and many songs she’s confirmed for it are like 5 years old. Let us all forget about the “problems with the label” bullshit. Did Sky have problems with EMI? YES, but in the past. They were marketing her as the next Britney, the “hurricane Lolita” and etc. and Sky’s never been comfortable with it. But this situation has been long gone. EMI spent millions on Sky, specially on productions with Bloodshy & Avant, so of course they were trying to make her release some of that stuff. But the label has nothing to do with keeping her work on hold anymore. Sky is definitely going to serve, Sky is absolutely brilliant but her career is an incredible JOKE. As a huge fan, I can’t even understand how she managed to stay relevant (at least on the internet) after all this years.

I have faith that she’ll come through for Christmas. It’s not like she was happy about the delay of Chemtrails, and I think she really enjoys making music with her friends so I do think she’ll put out the covers record for Christmas!

i have faith in the fact that he ran a good campaign. he was steady, didn’t get rattled by trumps attack, was consistently the bigger person, and spent his last week in battleground states of PA MI and FL (unlike Clinton, who’s last rally was in Arizona, which she had no shot of winning and wasn’t a battleground state). It worked for him in the primaries, let’s see if he can recreate that magic he used to shockingly beat Bernie.
