This woman made history with Chemtrails vinyl sales... Being 4th I believe to have the most sold in a week of release sitting right behind Paul McCartney! With this being said they would have to push the RCS vinyl soon right for a June release? And also it’s upsetting how JB still got a #1 when Lana outsold in pure sales where the fuck is the sense in that?

Hi this album's perfect. Not All Who Wander, Dark But Just a Game, Wild at Heart the Holy trinity. Midalbum set of masterpieces. Period. DBJAG a successor and sister of The Greatest; "the best ones lost their minds" is a lyric delivered with a knowing that she too, damn right, is one of the best. Not all who Wander, one of her most stunningly beautiful performances-a true princess of nature and the souls lost in its vastness. Wild at Heart is just a classic, another to stand shoulder to shoulder with her best and most accessible songs.Yosemite widens its massive canyons of emotions with each listen. White Dress has a buildup so sincere with a murderously beautiful melody, that it stands separate from almost all of her previous songs. The title track is so deeply ingrained into me by now that its true comfort, a song of shimmering doom and ennui. BUS hurts when you need it to, and that's all I ask of it. Dance Till We Die flips the switch so hard it causes the ground to shudder. A hippy swoon that breaks down into her boldest, most fun, and successful vocal performances. LMLYLAW is loving and truly vibes like a stoner in bliss, and also-she was first. And For Free. It's perfect. She has found her fellow Ladies of The Canyon, and they're beautiful, all three. I've been listening to UV (again) tonight and I crave something like Cruel World and PWYC. I need more of that. Cruel World is just- it left me speechless. Her voice shows me her anger, fury, ferocity... and tiredness, she is done with that guy, she's TIRED you guys, exhausted! and then PWYC... what the fuck! She's so vulnerable, so given to him... like I don't even care what you might hurt me please take me I'll take everything... She doesn't even care anymore. She wants what she wants. Fuck everybody. I'm PRETTY when I cry. Anyway! Need MORE of it Lana. I just want to feel it the way she does.

Why does the thought of lana making a country album is making me so depressed literally anything but country n folk

I posted this in the BuS thread last night, but here's a photograph of them from January 2014, as Nikki stated in the interview that they have known each other for a long time -

Lana has always had a country flair to her - so many of her vocal performances have a twanginess to them (which comes quite naturally for her, notably on Cruel World and Ride) so I can’t imagine she would stray too far away from her already established brand. Might I remind everyone that so many of her influences as early as her 2005 catalogue have been country artists from the 60s/70s. And of course, she always makes a genre uncharacteristically her own!

I personally think it’s very very likely RCS is going to be delayed her and her team were probably not thinking COTCC was going to do as well as it did, in every interview Lana did she said how nervous she was for the album to come out i think they’re going to wait at least six months for another album so everyone has time to digest Chemtrails and save up money for her next project. People said Chemtrails would do terrible because of the delay and obviously that wasn’t the case. I think the poetry book will come sometime in summer or fall, and RCS will be out in 2022

RCS is not the country album. nikki said to rolling stone that she doesn’t know when lana is going to release it

this may be a really unpopular opinion but i'm totally fine with the idea of lana making a "country" album because i know it's not going to be like modern, mainstream country, it'll probably be more "rural" or "western" like desert rock, similar to guns & roses and queen of the gas station, maybe something bluesy like sad girl, i think it'd be a beautiful sound for her, i think breaking up slowly's biggest issue was nikki lane's feature, but other than that, it was gorgeous

Her unreleased songs get randomly taken doen so there might be no correlation tbh. Buuut the fact that shes most likely working with Zach on the album and Thunder was from his 2017 sessions with her.. Maybe it isn't so far fetched Also isn't there a second version of Thunder that sounds more like a LFL demo? It was compared sonically to BAR if I remember correctly

Regarding RCS, given the process of BUS, I don’t think Nikki really knows. She just is judging by the amount of material they wrote together and knows that’s about an album’s worth and that Lana wants to release it (but let’s be real Lana says that a lot). That’s my interpretation at least.
