Being disappointed in her for being unprofessional (yes, HER) is NOT the same as hating her. It's WAY past due time that we become sick of the miscommunication... it was funny at first sort of a "Oh, Lana " type of deal, but now it's just pure annoying and unprofessional. Her team should not be allowing her to post things that aren't for sure but they're too busy skyrocketing Dua Lipa to pop stardom to care about ensuring Lana doesn't lose the last people standing by her side. Just because we are fans doesn't invalidate us from speaking out against feeling "mistreated" because we are the ones buying her art and giving her a platform to share it, the least we could expect is some courtesy to stick to a date, but we're not even entirely mad about that... we're mad because she doesn't even SAY ANYTHING when it doesn't happen... like seriously? This is partly the reason I've lost so much interest in her this past year, and now it's just going to keep fans away if she keeps pulling this.

I figured when we didn’t get the preorder last week it wasn’t coming, I don’t care that it’s not coming since she just released an album less than 4 months ago, but it’s still frustrating to be in this position every pre-release

Maybe Lanz is releasing the triple album in PARTS? We get the first on July 4th and Boz was confused when he saw a new track but its actually frombthe third album coming in October. Her mind

It really shocks me how some of y’all never able to CRITICIZE her. Criticism is not hating babies let’s get that straight. Announcing random dates is objectively unprofessional and disrespectful. We should be able to say that. Is she paying y’all or something?

I think the thing that bothers me the most is that when she first announced it, nobody moved because we knew she was lying. like of course we were excited she was already working on a new album but we knew the date she gave us was total bullshit as always. I think she noticed that because the next day she put up that “blue banisters” music video (that we never got) to back it up and THEN we all started taking it seriously im ok tho not getting the album this weekend but I really hope she gives us something- a single, an apology, the album title literally anything related to her music and dear god not another birthday

I think most of us knew it was delayed we just couldn’t face up to it. Lana may give us amazing music and is very talented but she’s still human with many obvious flaws like lying, poor planning and indecisiveness. We have to learn to just Ignore her until preorders drop.

I get what you're saying but its still her fault for giving fake dates. No other music artist I know of does that and its not strange to assume that something will be released when an artist announces a date Yes, we know how Lana is with dates but we shouldn't have to expect that her dates are going to be fake, you know what I mean? If you aren't on this forum and don't see the news on lana fan accounts, you're going to go by her word and what she announces and not have any idea that its delayed because an insider says it is. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a scheme to build hype in place of snippets and things tbh but its a pretty shitty thing to do to get peoples hopes up like that for nothing. I'd take a snippet any day over a fake release date

Definitely have to say I’m both shocked and not surprised at this news. And of course, we aren’t hearing it from Lana herself. I don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes, so I’d like to give her the benefit of the doubt, and I hope she’s doing okay - but it is unprofessional to keep announcing tentative dates, along with no updates along the way. I understand we just got Chemtrails, but it would be nice to receive some updates from Lana herself. I also understand she’s in that point in her life now where she doesn’t really like the fame and she’s focusing on her personal life with family/friends but she has so many fans that love her so much and it hurts them when things like this keep happening. Again, I’m not upset that she isn’t giving us new music per se; it’s more frustration at the fact that we are always left in the dark about release dates and changes.

She went on Instagram and Twitter and announced the album and the release date, it’s not bratty to hold someone accountable

Remember when BoZ said that the album was being renamed, that WE MIGHT’VE HAVE AVOIDED AN ALBUM DELAY? Literally less than 2 weeks ago. I think there’s a chance it is coming on July 4th. Or at least that Friday. Lana also LITERALLY did NOT announce the 3 tracks she released. She made a small temporal post AFTER the fact. Also, I believe her July 4th post is still up. I def think there is a possibility.

It’ll probably release digital only first but that’s all right. Theyll probably drop a pre order for the physicals.

You can’t get mad at insiders, like BoZ, for this just because it was news that most of us didn’t want to hear. Lana has her own team that makes decisions, along with Lana herself.

It’s not about “we have a new album that came out 4 months ago and 3 singles”. It’s about making your fans believe that there’s something coming, know that there’s nothing coming and still not say anything about it. And yes, she owns us something, at least some respect. but okay, I was not expecting this album to come at all but we always have that inner hope that keeps us believing in the possibility.

Well not surprised and my recent posts confirm so. She will give us some weird info on the album soonish. no Jack, no Rick, only one Mike song… This is turning out to be the Zach-Gabe produced-album. Or maybe someone is else is also involved. anyways, I’ve been listening to Violet for the past few days and I’m kinda more excited about BTIG than LDR8 at the moment

This silence is what makes her and her team unprofessional. It would be great to have a post saying “I’m sorry but I changed plans last minute because I was not enjoying the final result of the album. It’s not coming this Sunday, but will at …… and it’s called ….. . Sorry guys. I love you.” this would save us from the meltdowns and breakdowns we will have Sunday. Even if you know it’s not coming, this uncertainty is really devastating and lead some of us to anxiety. I have college work to do and I can’t concentrate on this because of her.

PSA before the meltdowns on Sunday: I know it's a bit unprofessional to keep pumping out dates and not releasing but please keep it civil. We don't know what goes on behind the scenes and I'm sure Lana isn't doing this maliciously. I guess she just gets excited and announces the first date that makes sense (for her ). At the end of the day it's just music and we got an album 3 months ago. Just forget a bit about the pre release and it will come out eventually. Maybe she'll release some singles or whatever while we wait. Also I'd take the delay if it means we get a nice rollout with pretty visuals
