In regards to what the 'one word' is, Lana said it was one that affected the rest of the album. I immediately thought it was "mother" (which she says on BBS). The matriarchal theme has never been a present theme on any album of Lana's before, yet it underlies and informs many of the experiences she sings about on this record. Our familial upbringing – particularly our relationships with our parents – undoubtedly has the most impact on the way we move through the world.

One of my friends is going through a breakup right now and I didn’t know what else to do to help her except for plug Lana’s new album to give her music to cry to LOL. I gave her a playlist consisting of 3 sections to help guide her through it - Blue Banisters, Violets for Roses, If You Lie Down With Me, and Wildflower Wildfire for when she wants to cry about it, Dealer & Black Bathing Suit for when she’s ready to be mad about it, and Beautiful & Sweet Carolina for when she’s ready to move beyond it. (Of course Sweet Carolina makes me sad and cry just bc of how I associate it with my own life, but it’s a happy positive song in spirit) The writing on this album is truly perfect for guiding someone out of a rough time, through every step of the journey, beginning to end. It almost makes me wish I was sad right now so I could use this album as a guide path as I did with NFR, but I’m gratefully among the happiest times of my life. For now, I’ll be listening to this album & reminiscing of all that I’ve gone through and gained over these past 2 years as I pulled myself out of my own darkness x

Lana could have just easily not promote BB at all and has any appearances if she truly lacks effort. But she sang live in the pre-recorded performance. She looks cute. She’s serving vocals. And some of you still bitch about her saying she lacks effort and she doesn’t look good. I can’t with this If you want a performer that puts on expensive outfits and dance around during every live performance, go and stan someone else. It’s not Lana. Never has been. Never will be.

Hi, guys! I just wanted to thank you for being nice. I wish I had questions prepared, but it is intimidating and you kind of blank when you are randomly put on a video call with Lana with thousands of people watching without my makeup or hair done. And yes, my Spanish is not fluent, so please try to be kind about that. I did it because she wanted me to. Wow people really have become so comfortable critiquing every single little thing Lana does and doesn't do. From her hair clip to her performance. I wonder why is that She sounded and looked great, it was prerecorded (which is common nowadays), get over it. I don't understand why people (especially fans) hold Lana to a higher standard than everyone else as if she owes you anything. Anyways, signing off now, 2:25am here. I haven't watched it all but that was so lovely. She is so genuine and as much as I don't totally understand her artistically at times, she comes across as such a wonderful person. Those fans chatting to her were so lucky!

Loved the performance . . . love the conviction she has in the delivery. And the delivery of her voice so much stronger and confident. I wonder, ten years on, who still dismisses her because of how she sounded once from earlier TV performances. Proud of her and feeling very happy to be a Lana fan today.

The way she was about to say really interesting shit a few times and just stopped mid sentence every time she was gonna go on about being angry at someone in FMWUTTT, she was gonna talk about Hope’s music video, she was gonna answer any heavy question before rob got there, so many times I was left so curious. This was the best live she’s ever done and I think she was more comfortable because less people had access to it since honeymoon is private. I hope she does these more often, it was so interesting and heartwarming I loved it

I loved that she said this she was so genuine about it too, I think that’s why she doesn’t seem super heavily involved in the merch, because she doesn’t even want people to feel pressured to buy it. I’m sure the label/her managers push her to engage. She truly is just about the music

I'm really happy Lana talked about this album and especially the unreleased tracks it makes me fall more in love with it, knowing she's into it too. she barely talked about chemtrails so I felt like I didn't know her thoughts about the album and it was sad
