yeah i feel like ben/ed/interscope were kind of fed up with lana having a private account, not even to mention her announcing things late on it, and also lana probably didn’t want to give them access to honeymoon because it’s her personal page. so oceanblvd was the compromise between everyone lmao, i have a feeling it’s just gonna be her management running it for promotional reasons and lana isn’t gonna have anything to do with it

I love basically everything about Ocean Blvd The lyrics, strings, build-up at the end. Listening to the instrumentals with Apple Music Sing is gorgeous and makes me hope that we get the real instrumentals at some point.

I don't recommend you to listen to these samples all the time. Don't spoil it for yourself like that.

Personally I don’t think A&W (or whatever single they decided to go with (assuming there is a second single)) is going to be surprise dropped. It’s not going to be a ‘omg is she dropping??’ There is going to be a clear date and probably a couple teases beforehand. The only true ‘surprise releases’ we get for singles is LMLYLAW (and we knew it was coming before the album we just didn’t know when) and the Trio in May. If there really is going to be a next single, I’m sure it’s going to have a video and proper announcement

hi all im new here after years of browsing. i cannot contain myself for the album— the hype and rollout just feel so much more put together than previous records. for me, the most important aspect of her records is her writing and i just feel something in the water that this will be her lyrical magnum opus

Damm, Halsey's single "Without Me" just got certified diamond by the RIAA. She has 4 studio albums, 2 live albums, 1 studio EP and many high profile collabs. And here we are, still waiting for the artist who called out Halsey for "stealing" her visuals and aesthetic to release her long-promised sophomore album after announcing it almost 10 years ago. I don't know who feels dumber: Sky herself or the fans who claim that Sky is better than Halsey lol.
