Miley Cyrus mentioned Lana in her recent Instagram post

I'm sure somebody has already mentioned this, but I just remembered that Lana posted a picture of Marilyn Monroe on her IG story a few weeks back. I wonder if that has anything to do with LDR9 with the speculation of the D in DNC being diamonds

The fact that she knows about the effect she has on us and goes and does something so cryptic…… Hope it’s new music hope it’s soon

I’ll never forget where I was when I heard Terrence Loves You for the first time — I was staying at one of those lonely hotel inns for the night in the stretch between the city and the sea during a road trip along the west coast. It was the perfect setting to take in such a thoughtful, contemplative song. That was a surreal moment, and one of my favourite memories of experiencing the music in real time. I love the idea of beautifying your life and doing things that make it feel pretty — experiencing that song’s release the way I did was one of those instances where I felt like life romanticized itself on its own, and this entire record definitely encouraged me to create moments like that from then on.

I think it’s important that the old songs come after Wildflower Wildfire. Unpacking her trauma, followed by a collection of songs written in a traumatic headspace. Finally, it’s resolved in the present, with Sweet Carolina, echoing Cherry Blossom’s tragic lost motherhood but with a renewed hope for the future. At least that’s how I see it.

lanaboards speculating if lana & mike dean have worked together besides wfwf when in reality they've already recorded 100+ songs

the common consensus for that story was that she handed in the album that day and was waiting for the vinyls to be pressed, which fitted the timeline back then the thunder mv is where the cherry mv went and took ifyldwm with her

this was July 6th…. how can we fit this into the timeline maybe they were waiting so she could do a beach photoshoot during a storm…… or maybe even a mv…….. the way i am jumping to conclusions lmfao maybe it’s for BB and we’re getting a Thunder mv

oh so that muted story she posted recording a song was Faerie Soiree and not Sirens! So it definitely made the cut, can't wait to see the final version

I fully agree with the discourse about romanticising your life, life truly imitates art The first time I listened to TLY I was visiting the South of France. I'll never forget looking over at these vast golden fields from my car's window while having this absolute otherworldly experience, Honeymoon can do that to you. I still picture that in my head whenever I listen to it, and I kind of relive those emotions all over again

(probably) Something somebody made up. It's super easy to fake scrobbles on last.fm, you literally just have to listen to something with the title on whatever listening service you have plugged into your last.fm. I'm pretty sure an insider did that with Garden of Eden. For all we know, that could be a song by an entirely different artists with the name changed to QFTC just to be funny

Just to lighten up the mood, here's a joke Miley posted on Instagram last night about Lana. I thought it was a pretty good dad joke: Hope Lana is doing well and to all the dicks who were being disrespectful in her comments: FUCK YOU!

With the last Polaroids, she gave us hints what might happen next: double single release I repeat, two singles coming really, I meant two one is If You Lie Down With Me the other is Black Bathing Suit (the black jacket is the hint) both with videos shot by Mike Hermosa it will be fun

If Faerie Soiree isn't the first track I'm gonna have a word with Melanie. It's the perfect album opener

Didn't she say in the ig live that she wanted to do something with Rich Lee? It was something weird about album trailers or whatever but maybe he'll be the director for LDR9 MVs

Honeymoon is put together so perfectly. Every song flows into the next and it tells this beautiful story that I don't think I'll ever get enough of. The soundscape is this jazzy, tranquil garden that makes you feel like you're floating. Everything about the Honeymoon era, from the music to the videos to the aesthetics to everything else, is a 10/10. I'm so glad this album is finally getting its flowers

The DNC logo, on her jacket, with its wave, better have something to do with the general feeling of the song (at least).

Deleted - No Context Delete No Contacts Delivered No Contact Date No Cops Deadly New Coronavirus (imagine this being a headline on a newspaper cover and her face in the center of a covid-19 bubble thing…. Sorry, too soon…) Deadly Newark Coven Diamonds N Curls Doing No Collaborations, my personal favorite There’s also a Del Norte, Colorado too.

Honeymoon is a record that she could release at any point in her life and it would still read as one that represents where she’s currently at in relation to the natural process of aging and acquiring wisdom. That record is really something else — it exists in its own space independent of time and maturity. I can’t believe it’s real, and I can’t believe it was critiqued so unfairly for the longest time. It’s absolutely untouchable and I think one that best represents how deep and soulful Lana is. The lyrics, melodies, and production all do so much more than create music — it all-around transcends any constructs of what defines ‘’music” or “storytelling”. It’s just her.

I'm not sure why some people here were so insistent that Honeymoon would be better As if the creeps and freaks who obsessively stalk her wouldn't be around when she opens it for followers, for starters It doesn't matter if there are fewer people on there because it only takes one person to write something fucky and have it blow up As others have said, she should disable comments if it upsets her. Unfortunately.

I wish we knew the idea that her management said she’s wanted to do for years.. If it’s a surprise drop, there’s really no telling how far she’s gotten, especially with her wishes for privacy in her work! If I remember correctly, Lana mentioned COVID restrictions affecting COCC, so I figure she’s probably more inclined to be in the studio with restrictions being lifted or lessened in many places. I almost find it hard to believe she’d only work with Mike Dean once (especially with his “future work” comment), but I dunno. I feel that it’s more than possible they could’ve worked on LDR9 without us knowing. Hm..

Lana has a predilection for famous people who have committed suicide. I wouldn't be surprised if Marilyn was her next big project.

I’ve never really used makeup before, but I’ve always loved Lana’s eye makeup in photos like this one. @Honeyyoung ‘s post in the LDR9 thread reminded me of this! Basically, how would I go about achieving this look shown around her eyes? I know practically nothing about makeup lol. Thank you in advance!

i'm dying at people still being shocked by her red carpet outfit like have you guys even been paying attention to her fashion sense over the years. it could and realistically should have been so much worse. no one ever loved lana for her fashion except maybe for like 10 mins in 2011-2012 where she was being styled insanely specifically. she's always been eclectic and wild which is why i was so shocked she pulled out a dress and heeled boots for this and was hyping her up sm, bc lana fashion standard is just not the same expectation level as other mainstream celebs lol. ppl need to calmm down
