There has to be something really unexpected/special about this album... like she knows nobody will spoil anything this time so she's the only one who can do the real teasing as she wants (not counting Ben's nonsense)... yet she only posted a less than 10 seconds snippet and didn't even reveal the title. Even if the album wasn't as close as we think (which I still think it is, I can't see it coming later than spring) that didn't stop her from posting a million snippets from NFR, the TJF snippet before having a real date or 3 singles months before the album. There has to be something... Plus BOZ going crazy for you about the album. I know insiders tend to have questionable taste but I feel like praise is often a better indicator about the quality than hate. I can't contain my excitement

I don't care if Pitchfork, or Anthony Fantano, or any other music critic doesn't like the album, people having been misunderstanding, underestimating, and criticizing Lana for no reason since day 1, we all know she's incredibly artistic and talented and some people just simply can't recognize that because they can't shake off the inaccurate ideas they have of her

@xxmissdaytonaxx you inspired me Legend Lana Del Rey's highly anticipated 9th/10th studio album titled "Waist Deep In Icy Waves" is finally on the horizon. "Out March 10th 2023" it says at the end of an stunning album trailer, which also includes her last two records , both released in 2021. But this album is different then what we've heard from Lana Del Rey over the past 3 years. It's reminiscent of " Honeymoon " ,it contains elements which are reminiscent of "Ultraviolence ". The dramatic, epic closer "The 13th Beach" is a direct reference to a song from "Lust For Life" & her screaming vocals from songs like "Dealer" create a familiar feeling, kinda like it's a children of all her albums yet this album has its very unique, own, brandnew spin and adds something new and refreshing to her discography. It's Lana Del Rey at her best .The use of orchestra ,flute, synths and sound effects (waves ,wind noises, noises that sound like drowning siren etc.) create an album that feels like a cold, foggy day on the beach where you sit alone and dream of a different life, were you think about all the shit you went through and were you wish for more color in your life but everything is dipped in black and white. Sometimes it even feels very spacey and dark . But there are also dots of fire in this icy dark world, which you can find on songs like "The Drama'" , "Dragons Near California " and "Long Nails On Your Back (ft. Father John Misty)". Angry lyrics , screaming vocals but also lust & sexiness, all represented by dope ass beats , wild electric guitar riffs or jazzy & bluesy arrangements which makes you want to strip on a pole. When you think the ocean is quiet and calm there is another storm brewing on the horizon and it hits you hard. It pulls you into the ocean, which is symbolic for Lanas mind. She is wild and wavering as the ocean. This is how you could describe what it feels like to listen to this body of art and it feels all very well put together. Get ready to cry , to scream or to grind on the bedroom floor, get ready for a adventurous, emotional boat ride through Lanas mind. Lead single "Late Nights " & pre order out on January 7th 2023

Lana Del Rey's 9th studio album, "The Departure", is set to be released February 2023. She explores a sultry, sexy, jazz-influenced sound hidden behind angry lyricism and sometimes screaming vocals. She harkens back to her days of "Ultraviolence" and "Honeymoon", but with a more mature tone. Father John Misty also makes an appearance on the track Discrete Night Calls, a seemingly "sister" track to her predecessor, Dealer. I'm really curious if the automatic writing/singing & the album being wordy leads to having more bridges again. While I personally enjoyed the last three albums I'm really sad about the lack of bridges. I know I said that probably a good amount of times already but I hope and manifest some bridges. She mentioned orchestra in the W magazine and getting orchestra back and alot of bridges would be a dream Also still hoping for some electric guitar as well and some harps, bells, flutes,saxophones and cello to make the orchestral vibes complete I'm really curious about the sonic landscape and I do believe she teased the 10 second of Rockefeller with the dark piano on purpose to keep the sound of the album a remaining mystery I probably said all of this already but it's so dry right now even the sahara desert is shook & I can't stop thinking about this goddamn album so I keep thinking about the same things. If we won't get news in the next two months get ready to read all of this again

plus, her producers definitely have the album on back up. there's no way they don't. so, i don't foresee the album really being delayed by much, if at all.

I also thought about that but she was still kinda secretive about the whole thing before it happened (only vague comments about the new songs she had on the livestream and the W Magazine interview without much details other than general statements about an "untitled album"). She also posted the Rockefeller snippet after it happened and told us she was still confident in the record so she actually talked more about the album after the incident than before

Listening to blue banisters and god I love that album I wouldn't mind another album like that if it didn't have any old or leaked songs It would better though if there was less piano with 1 or 2 more upbeat songs
