Personally, I prefer to hear the album all at once rather than have multiple singles sporadically released with only a few unheard songs left by the time the whole record is released. For Blue Banisters, there were only 6 unheard tracks on release day as the other 9 were either released as singles or were the previously unreleased leaked songs. Hearing a brand new Lana record for the first time start to finish is truly an incredible, unmatched experience. I think 2 singles leading up to the release is all I’d want. One to get the momentum going, as with the title track for this cycle, and another as the date gets closer to finish building that hype. I’m not sure if we’ll get another single before the record releases, but it would be a nice treat! I’d only want one more though so I’d still have lots of new treats on release day x

Something I’m excited for is that we have the opportunity to experience hearing DYKTTATUOB at the same time on LanaBoards! I really enjoyed listening to Blue Banisters with everyone when it dropped, and with so much fresh material on LDR9, I have a feeling our reactions will be even more enthused and shocked when it’s released! edit: maybe I picked a poor time to send this reply

This time we'll have the most unheard tracks on release from a Lana album ever so I'd like only a second single (and maaaybe a third one but really close to the album). Norman being 90% spoiled by snippets, Chemtrails being short (and having 3-4 songs already out) and BB being half old material/singles "ruined" a bit the experience for me even though I absolutely love those records. And yeah I can just not listen to singles and snippets but I'm not strong enough

The song I most want to hear is Kintsugi It's really interesting to me that she chose this title because in an IG live just after NFR dropped, I really wanted to know what the lyric in FIILY was (at the time we did not know it was "jazz is in my veins") And I knew cos she didn't follow me that I'd have to spam the shit out the question for her to even see it in the chat. But I was very dedicated to the cause, and right at the end I was just like "WHAT IS IN YOUR VEINS?????" and she finally saw it because she said, "What's in your veins? Gold" without any hesitation and it was so amazing and hilarious because she didn't answer the question at all but her answer was even better than if she'd actually answered And kintsugi is basically gold veins and I haven't stopped thinking about that

ok so this is gonna sound a little off topic at first but i promise i’ll circle back around to the album. it connects, i swear. i remember every single lana album release since honeymoon. hell, i even remember where i was when i heard each individual ldr song since then. that was 7-8 years ago. i remember lana being my escape for when my mental health was in shambles (which was constantly, to be honest). but recently, i’ve really been putting in the work to help myself and my mental health to surprisingly successful results. and for the first time in a while, i feel genuinely content and happy. that’s why im so so excited for this new album from lana. it feels like for the first time i’ll be listening to one of her albums as if i were meeting an old friend, rather than escaping my mind. i feel like she’s been with me since i was a kid, and it’s just so damn exciting to be getting this new album at such a good time in my life (mentally, at least). i know that things may feel rough right now for any given person, but i want to offer my love and support for anyone who might not be feeling the best. we’ve all been there at one point or another, and i know you’re probably sick of hearing this, but it DOES get better. i promise. it just takes a lot of time, work, and sometimes just a sliver of hope. i love you guys, and im so excited to experience this record with you guys next month. much love, (and sorry for the extra long and extra corny post), yassgrenade. <3

Whenever the album drops, I’ll probably turn off all of the lights in my room (maybe light a few candles) and listen with headphones I’m sure I’ll be on LB too! I really want to amplify that middle-of-the-night bedroom vibe that Neil seemed to be highlighting in his photoshoot with Lana. Then again, maybe I’ll think differently about my environment once I’ve heard the whole record

I will say, Lana's major playlists only show up when I search A&W. No playlists or anything show up with Peppers or other songs. Maybe it's there waiting to be made public.
