Listening to COCC and LMLYLAW with well made headphones is just a whole nother experience I didn't even know I could be more hyped for the album but I got COCC slapped in the face

All signs point to a Feb 26 release. She will most likely announce Sunday-Tuesday. She announced Chemtrails, 3 weeks later released the song with the video, 3 weeks later announced White Dress, 3 weeks later will drop it with the video and then 3 weeks after that the album will come out. She might drop a promo single a week before the album, maybe Tulsa. Also the iTunes database website is very accurate. And I will confirm when I know for sure.

I played the title track nearly 300 times and I'm still not tired of it. Not at the slightest. Such a beautiful song. The built up in the song is so beautiful & the melody Let Me Love You Like A Woman sounds so great recently This album is going to be so good 26 days guys ..we can do that

some covers are really good and i think the cocc cover is no exception. i wish lana would incorporate more rocky/uv tones into her music again so this just satisfies me. i love lanas chemtrails and having the cover doesnt detract anything from that stream cocc wearing our jewels in the swimming pool

I just checked my stats. Chemtrails: 303 plays LMLYLAW: 265 plays Both songs still sound pretty fresh to me somehow... I never get sick of Chemtrails. It just continuously unravels over 4 minutes.

i’m actually appreciating how this era shaped out to be, the march wait has not been as crucial as i thought it would be when we first got the announcement that everything was postponed. no leaks, not too many snippets, intimate soundscape and lyrics, many vinyl options to not feel slaved to THE one... this does feel like a Honeymoon-esque release and i feel like she made this album for herself again without any push from the GP and media. if anything, the grammy loss and the recent backlash i feel as made her realize that trying to please people will not allow growth in your authentic self and so she’s decided to say “fuck it, fuck the rules and fuck the barriers”. she’s doing it for herself again and it’s proving to be so good

i think it depends on the location. if she went shopping in glasgow for example she would 100% be recognised at least once. i think there’s a lot of people that are more than fans but not as die hard as stans, and that will probably make up the biggest percentage of people she would bump into. also i think at this point she’s been in anchorage awhile, and if i were an anchorage gay and knew lana was randomly there i would definitely be out and about just in case. i would hope people would have the sense not to travel to different states and cities right now :/ but gays are wild so

theory: I think Lana changed White Hot Forever to Tulsa Jesus Freak once she had White Dress. It would look VERY clunky and redundant if the tracklist went: 1. White Dress 2. Chemtrails Over the Country Club 3. White Hot Forever Even if one of the White's got pushed further down the tracklist it would still just seem a bit off. Tulsa Jesus Freak is a great title aslo, very unique. .....now....my crackhead mind is still wondering if perhaps.....Tulsa Jesus Freak just has the refrain of White Hot Forever....and White Hot Forever was a full song that got scrapped....imagine Sort of like how "spin me round kiss me in your Chevrolet" appears in many of her unreleased songs but no one knows which is TRULY belongs to...

But on the other hand, I think that's what makes this album so exciting. I actually love that she's uncomfortable with it, for whatever reason. NFR! felt so clear-headed and lucid to me. If that album was Lana sailing on blue waters away from the fiery hills, this album feels like Lana walking through the smoke (alternative cover teas). It's obvious she feels untethered, and unanchored... that sort of existential confusion, longing, and exploration is something that I find makes for the best art. I wonder if this is just the beginning of her going down the rabbit hole into another angrier, stormier album, given that the sound of this album seems to only hint at the frustration and pain she's been sharing in her latest interviews. This album is sort of serving "tornado warning on a sunny day in the midwest" vibes... You can hear the sense of uneasiness lurking within the title track, LMLYLAW is supposed to be sweet and light, but comes off sounding almost pleading, or desperate in a way. Idk. Just my thoughts.

6 days until the 26th, 27 days until the 19th meanwhile she's frolicking with the bears and birds in alaska... what an icon! i declare that there WILL be an album trailer and it'll be woodsy, rural on the run in the woods, flowing dresses, out of the blue and into the white, light intensity and wildness throughout. i can't wait to see media from this record, mvs are always special to me and give me a whole new level of appreciation for a song... so i can't physically or psychologically wait for the white dress mv. it just gives it all the more depth and meaning to experience it in physical form or be able to look at something and connect it to the themes of the record and the headspace the artist was in. i also hope there'll be other mvs for this record, even if they're homemade videos of her driving down a rural road in alaska... it just makes it all the more special

i honestly hope we DONT get White Dress on the 26, we've been waiting so long as is, it doesn't bother me as much as it did in like August - October. I think it would be nice for it to come out the 12th, a week before the album. That way i could have either more of a chance of waiting till the album to listen, or if i cave, it wont be too worn out by release!
