SOMETHING IS HAPPENING SOON!!!!!!! We've seen miss lana in public TWICE in the past week which is more than usual and now we have the profession pap photos ya'll she is alive and breathing the energy of the universe is about to shift i feel it in my SOUL.

I actually really like Jack Antonoff and from what I’ve seen of his interactions with other people and his interviews, etc. he’s a really nice guy and he really cares about music and what it stands for. I will say, though, I do think that NFR really changed this trajectory he has been on since then; you could argue that a lot of the major albums that he has worked on since NFR’s release (excluding his own Bleachers projects) contain echoes of what people think “Lana Del Rey” has evolved to sound like. I think they’re all great albums but I do think that there seems to be a sort of continuity between a lot of his production on other people’s records lately - and that’s not necessarily a bad thing, it’s his signature style and his “tag” I guess. But I am glad that Lana seems to be branching out a bit and is continuing to forge her own path. She is simultaneously an artist with a signature style and a musical chameleon. Whether or not you would care to admit it, she has an influence that I think a lot of people pretend isn’t there - but it’s there. Even if certain alternative artists don’t know it, their output is shaped and albeit, only possible because of her impact on the scene.

Not stockholm syndrome but i actually like the covers, she looks fucking stunning in them. I love how it looks like she's rotting in them too, they look like holes in her chest, it also looks like the straps on her top are torn in the black and white pic too? She's giving me david lynch vibes. I think we're being overdramatic about the pictures, this is obviously an artistic choice in my opinion, and Lana has always been one step ahead, people never understood her until it was too late. I'm totally here for the single covers. I do hope the album cover is something different though

I watched Venus Fly Trap MV and this is one of the best mv's from her. Every era is represented very well and she looks gorgeous

I had a dream, a magazine posted an early review (a positive one) of the album and leaked the whole tracklist everyone was having meltdowns. And then, there was this song she'd released and it was so beautiful I'm manifesting it all becomes real

Jack gives totally artistic freedom artist who he's working. Lana wanted 50/60s inspired album with some surfy elements- he did that. Taylor wanted cottagecore, folky songs- he did that. St. Vincent wanted go to more pop vibes- he did that. And many others. He did what artist want, not what producer or label wants.

I guess there are also personal reasons. I‘m really not an expert, but what I‘ve read and what the me too movement has shown, is that the music industry can be very toxic- especially towards women. Jack seems to be the type of producer who gives his artists a lot of freedom and is more interested in working together than following his own vision.

I woke up to these photos and they’re just so warm and she looks amazing. She always kills it with the blue jeans + white shirt combo and the Gucci shades complement her nail and hair colour so nicely. Living for this, everything is perfect about it <3

I think she should sell hollow boxes disguised as books for her merch this time around. have it decorated well with gold trim, and titled on the spine she could make it into a box set even that comes w a cassette or cd or something. maybe have it come w a journal or a lyric booklet/insert inside or something and. it'll be practical as well, where u can put stuff in it, jewelry knick knacks etc. it's stylish, on-brand and useful. who wouldn't want that.
