to be fair, I’ve had a feeling it might be this way all along. She took the critiques about staying quiet to heart, and either with total sincerity or total contempt she is going to stay silent because any time she says anything people cancel her.

Gucci's new fragrance is called Flora Gucci Gorgeous Gardenia but there's no Lana in sight (well it's not technically new but it's like a new release from that line or whatever)

Ahh!!! My meet & great was a little over an hour ago, and it was absolutely incredible. We got to talk for three minutes & she was so sweet! I figured she was spending more time with fans than was originally allotted as my room didn't even open until after it was meant to end, and I was sort of timing the chats of those in front of me by noticing when my spot would move up - it looks like most people got 3 minutes too! I'm so happy she decided to spend more time with us. During our chat, I asked her what song she’s most proud of out of her entire discography, and she said Froot! “Froot was the first song I had written on my own for awhile, and it just felt experimental and fun. It even influenced this record, it’s still a good benchmark for me for songwriting.” I let her know that Froot is one of my favourite tracks as well, and when I went through a rough point in January of 2015, I desperately needed to give myself a distraction project - so I made my own little homemade music video to Froot! It was on YouTube once upon a time, but then I decided it was too cringe so I took it down LOL but it really helped in the moment, and I'm glad I got to share that little memory with her. I'm so excited to see her on tour next February - I got my VIP tickets for Atlanta on Monday, so I'll be counting down the days! Here's a little clip from the goodbye of our call that I posted on my Instagram - If anyone else met her today or yesterday, please share your experiences too! Reading everyone's meet & greet stories are bringing me so much joy. I'm so elated she decided to do this, and I hope she considers doing something like this again even post-COVID! x

I kind of like not knowing what to expect from this new album. The three singles (albeit, all some of her most personal work) are all very different from one another. I wouldn’t even be mad if we didn’t get a track list or cover until the album is officially released - however, not knowing the release date is stresssssful! Hahaha. I think with some of her past albums, major singles and snippets all kind of “gave away” the vibes and sound of an album. I kind of want to be totally surprised with this one!! Regardless, I’m so ready for whatever Lana has for us

It feels so weird framing today as 16 days until the album is released. I obviously remember when we were 16 days away from Chemtrails being released (since it was so recent ) and that felt so real and like such a tangible waiting period compared to right now. It’s pretty crazy to think that there is (allegedly) no delay pushing this record back and that it’s (potentially) going to be out in approximately 2 weeks. Here’s to hoping that July 4th will indeed be the day the album comes out (although I have no problem if it’s not, I totally get that delays happen and Lana perhaps not feeling ready to release something, and besides - we were just gifted a new record and I’m still very much relishing that)!!

I'd rather the three singles not be on the new album, or maybe not all three. We can always add them ourselves later if we feel they fit. I'd rather hear all-new music.

i love not knowing anything and tbhhh i would rather not know anything than have her announce another flaky fake date/title/cover because at least not knowing anything gives mystery and excitement, whereas getting a date or a title or concept that then falls through just kinda sucks

we can confirm that it's changed again apparently most of the songs planned for RCS/BB were scrapped so it sounds like it'll be a completely different album the 3 singles will be on it though

Honestly same. I remember being least excited about the California snippet and the real thing blew my wig off. This dichotomy between not wanting them but loving them at the same time is how I feel about insiders too. I would prefer no info get leaked but when it does I eat that shit up so fast. Hell, I was one of those instigators tryna guess the White Dress acronyms lol. I just wish that if things were truly meant to be a surprise then they would respect that and let it happen that way, even if that means we’re in a news drought again
