It's still so weird & surreal to listen to these songs on LDR's "official" Youtube Channel at this point

I want to share my little story with you if you may: My grandmother died of Covid in April. I lived with her all my life, I used to put her to bed every night and I never forgot to say 'good night, sleep tight' always fearing that it might be the last time. Her death is something that still makes me cry like a child. So last night I was in the bathroom, crying my heart out because I miss her and I didn't get the chance to say goodbye, I couldn't see her because of Covid restrictions. I asked God for a sign, I prayed and I told him to send my a butterfly to let me know that she's alright. Today after lunch I went outside to have a smoke, Blue Banisters playing with my headphones on, and there was the butterfly. It stared flying all over me while I was standing on the grass when Beautiful started playing. I couldn't help crying. I'm going to keep this moment in my heart forever. Don't know if it was just a coincidence, I don't care, I needed it and I choose to believe! Beautiful now has a special meaning for me, I will never forget it. My heart is so full right now. Hopefully someday I get the chance to meet Lana just to thank her.

I wonder if Lana knows how much praise Dealer is getting on TikTok with it going viral…maybe she’ll notice & it will inspire an album of tracks with a similar vibe Her Mike-Dean-produced synth screamer magnum opus coming

Fucking hate TikTok, but can’t deny how much of a powerhouse it is. Dealer is charting… 😱

I feel like Lana really loves the blue-profile album cover. It seems to have some sort of significance to her, as she commented “A picture is worth a thousand words” on Neil’s post of it, and only that photo. She also told Brian, the fan in the livestream, to not worry about getting the vinyl, and to get only that vinyl variant if they had to. Looking at it, it is such an impactful, defiant, and stunning shot — but upon closer inspection, you can see it looks like there’s something out there in the distance that appears troubling to her, and I think that perfectly sums up the place she’s at in this record. The album is a portrait of her, essentially, and is born out of her experiences, so I actually think this cover is a direct representation of the record, and is worth the thousands of words she wrote on this album.

I can't believe how much Thunder is hitting me. I listened to the leak a few times but (unpopular opinion coming), the released version is FAR superior to my ears.

Lana posted some clips of her performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on her honeymoon account with the caption “Can’t explain how grateful I am for Stephen. He has been such a huge inspiration in my life, a supporter and a wonderful example. Who would’ve thought”

DEALER supremacy is no joke. Joke's on them who constantly shit on Dealer 1 month ago. Such an underdog icon - from zero to hero icon.

i think the reddit leaker was confirmed to be a lanadelrey.fm mod lol i wouldn't be surprised if she has leaked a few other things before, but i don't think she's leaked a lot of stuff lana, if you're reading this, you could always leak the other aka homemade music videos & the david kahne outtakes

The word BLUE is mentioned in 6 songs on this album and she says it a total number of 25 times.

I’ve seen a couple vids of it with 200k+ likes already . If it keeps growing it’ll do wonders for this album

I think it’s still unreal to me that she’s admitted her love for these songs that, before, she couldn’t even acknowledge really. Living Legend especially. That live video really made it clear to me how special her music is to her, now if only she could remember every single song the way we do

Other fan bases making fun of Lana for doing only 30k when their fave is struggling on there 3rd album. I’d like to see Halsey or Billie do next to zero promotion, disable social media still sell 200k on an 8th album…them girls would drop fast.

I know she hasn't announced anything yet (except that it exists and that it's gonna be a digital only release) and that we just got a whole new album yesterday, but I wanted to create this thread for us, sexually hyperactive music addicteds, to discuss and make manifestations for her upcoming magnum opus Boom Like That, out September 11th on Dbree. WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT IT

The first line of the album: "I guess you could call it text book, I was looking for the father I wanted back" The last line of the album: "I'll always be right here, closer to you than your next breath, my dear"

Text Book, Blue Banisters, and Wildflower Wildfire – being a first look into this record – alone were among the best songs she's ever written. I am so excited to hear how she's going to endeavour on this sound and calibre of writing moving forward.

i think there's a double meaning in if you lie down with me, perhaps she also wants him to lie to her as they lie down together, this could be why she repeatadly sings "lie lie lie lie lie" after singing if you lie down lie next to me- as if she wants to feel closer to the man she loves even if that means lying to her, becsuse sometimes even a false form of intimacy can keep you feeling warm and safe and loved.. at least in the moment, and there is nothing more heartbreaking than loving someone who does not love you back

this album has brought me to tears several times and that didn’t happen to me with cocc! it is really such a masterpiece. i love how authentic lana is being even though a lot of people may seem to disagree with her current promotions, (or lack thereof) lyrics and visuals

I want her to explore more of what she did in black bathing suit tbh I really like her use of different tempo changes and experimental vocals more of that on her next album pls. Would die to hear a full fledged psychedelic rock album with folk influenced lyrics and undertones.

How was I not a fan of NOTG before?? it’s literally been playing in my head all morning long… I think I still need more time to fully appreciate the chorus, but the verses touch me so much, they’re gorgeous. Crazy how much the song makes sense within the context of the album
